I understand where you are coming from, it always feels like why even bother, and you have just decided you won't give your endorsement of, what you consider, a broken system. Doesn't it feel like a complete lost cause with more and more people voting every presidential election? So, I indicate this to the government by not voting.
How this mfer felt writing this:dude the people freaking out that not voting = voting for kamala completely do not understand why i don't vote.
I do not believe the system exists. The electoral system of the United States is a collective hallucination. I do not believe that there a single direct correlation between the physical act of voting and the numbers that are tallied. Every single electronic vote is discarded without being written to memory, identical to how voting down a comment on YouTube triggers no network event and is just an illusion on your screen that makes you feel better. Every single paper ballot is burned.
I'm not exaggerating. It's not a joke. I do not believe that there is a single vote in the United States that is counted towards electing a candidate. Every single "My Vote Counted" sticker is a lie. There is no genuine connection between the ballot and the results of the election.
Instead, turnout is counted, and turnout represents approval of the status quo and the system. They do count these votes and do account for fraud when counting them. This is the vote that actually decides if policy meaningfully changes: the binary action of voting. In 2020, 66% of the US voted. This is 66% of the US population telling the Federal Government they support the continued existence of the Federal Government, and that they believe democracy works. I was a part of the third of the US that does not believe that. I do not believe in the US Federal Government and I believe the sooner it collapses, the better. So, I indicate this to the government by not voting.
It was before your time, but we once had a dedicated board for mining salt. It was glorious.Expecting a dedicated salt mine. I know the cope is no matter who wins the salt will he good but let's face it. Red will post stupid shit but it's nothing, absolutely nothing compared to the hysterics of Blue side.
At least there's one cultural tradition Californians are proud to keep alive - unpaid nigger labor. To keep prison unpaid labor ongoing as a thing.
I was gonna say that at this point it has to be bait, right?Remember: if you engage, he's gonna post libertariancore and all you statists are going to take the bait and bang your keyboards to death
At the rate things are going, it's ending in civil war either way, and within a few months. The only reason I encourage voting at all is because the alternative is political violence and civil war.
Shit maybe they do owe reparations despite not being part of the ConfederacyAt least there's one cultural tradition Californians are proud to keep alive - unpaid nigger labor.
We're hoping for a counter-revolution, not an October oneI'm seating myself for the chaos that its going to unleash whoever is going to win tonight.
Good luck my fellow American kiwis, you're gonna need it.
No I believe this because during Net Neutrality's decision I was taking classes for and actively studying to become a cyber security major before I changed my profession, and during the repeal process of it we had long talks for the entire class about the pros and cons of net neutrality as a whole for the entire week. You just like to assume because god forbid someone disagrees with you so it must be "oh they must worship the ground orange man walks on"What you believe is literally a post facto justification of Aijit-Pajeet-Shit-in-the-Street's appointment and subsequent buffoonish behavior.
The people who are against NN make my blood boil. You have no idea. You don't even have a fucking clue what you're talking about. You are actively rooting against everything good and holy and you don't even realize it because Orange Man not just good, Orange Man infallible, and if Orange Man's Pajeet said it was good, it must be good.
I agree with you about NN, but for four years the other side sure as fuck didn't bring it back. Trump at least seems to hate a lot of the people he used to work with. A shot in the dark is still a shot is all I'm saying. What you believe is literally a post facto justification of Aijit-Pajeet-Shit-in-the-Street's appointment and subsequent buffoonish behavior.

If Rs were nearly that pragmatic this country would have changed decades ago. It's politically smart and it's common sense and perfectly reasonable.
Republicans.
Calm down Josh, half your audience weren’t alive for NN. Let’s remember the good times. What you believe is literally a post facto justification of Aijit-Pajeet-Shit-in-the-Street's appointment and subsequent buffoonish behavior.
