I can 100% guarantee that thousands of dollars and man hours has been put into suited men figuring out how to replicate this troonery shit. This is different from gender envy. For me gender envy usually feels good (sometimes with a tinge of sadness bc I don't look like them).

I mean seeing someone AFAB with a similar presentation as you before you came out. For example, I was a femme goth before I came out and there's a certain influencer on instagram who looks like how I used to. Looking at their page brings me pain because it reminds me of being treated like a woman when I used to look like that. A shame because their makeup is really cool.

I'm scared. That's simply it. I live in a deeply Republican state and if Kamala wins I still will be scared because of all the backlash, I'm visibly queer and already am teased with my other friends (a transmasc, lesbian, and a straight ally; some of the only people in school that actively supports lgbtq+) at school. I feel like after this election it's just gonna get worse because the kids who believe their maga parents I feel won't stop at just teasing one day and will end up with me or my friends injured heavily.
