I was partially motivated to snap screenshots of the election reaction but it's so painfully trite that I genuinely got bored and gave up. And I don't meant it was too unfunny. It wasn't funny, but it also illicits absolutely zero reaction. It's just page upon page of white noise, to the point you can convince people it's just a dozen 2010 chatbots jabbering in a thread.

The posts you saw were pretty much what the political threads looked like ad infinitum. Just whining masked behind irreverent nonsense to hide the blatantly obvious fact they're absolutely seething about it. It was like reading clones crying at each other.

There's a common goon cope excuse that states "oh, of course we're unfunny!" But it's not even amusing in an ironic sense. It's unfunny in the way watching paint dry is unfunny. Reading 300 posts just composed of "aaaaa" would have been more engaging. Redditors are at least stupid in novel ways, goons are just so dull and boring, now.

When Kiwi Farms posted an ad on their website, the goon method of hiding their rage by pretending to be snarky was done in unique and entertaining ways. Somehow goons have evolved to be even less creative when they impotently throw tantrums.
