I don't think anyone could have predicted how badly Kamala could have fucked up this election. She didn't manage to get any more votes than Biden in one county. She lost the Latino vote in almost every county including one that didn't win the Republican vote since 1892 or some year like that.

Our country is so fucking stupid I love it. Now I can't wait for the next 3 months of Election denial from the Democrats.

I really, really need the tell-all books and exposes about the backstage of her campaign in these last four months and the fallout of Election Night. It has to have been a shitshow for the ages.

The book about Hillary's campaign, Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton's Doomed Campaign, is a great read. It was clearly finished in the very narrow time before the Dems decided to go all-in on the election being fraudulent, because it actually tells what was happening in the DNC and the campaigns, all the mistakes, etc. There's even a section on how the Clinton-controlled DNC gypped Biden out of an opportunity to run in the primaries.

I hope there's one written for Kamala's campaign because it would be fascinating. There's no narrative set yet to explain away Trump winning, and it's going to be much harder this time to credulously blame Russia given the state and national vote margins in Trump's favor. From the inside info I've heard, it was extremely dysfunctional from the inside, and it was a Potemkin campaign from the outside that relied on the media, Hollywood, and celebrities to do the heavy lifting.

It used to be tempered with outright nationality restrictions (English colonial law) or a caste system (Spanish colonies) but the US is now left interpreting legal documents that had entirely different meanings at their conception that they have locked themselves out of changing.
