Serious answer from someone with pretty moderate views on this. I think millennial women in particular were raised on horror stories of pregnancy and childbirth and were taught that life in the mid-20th century was the worst time ever to be a woman. Teen pregnancy was the worst thing in the world (still not advisable imo but it’s part of a general anti-pregnancy push), and the difficulty of affording kids has been heavily emphasized. ‘Having fun’ is pushed over settling down and some don’t get past that. People talk much less about the joys of having children and focus on horrifying fringe cases. Women want the ability to avoid pregnancy because they are afraid. And I really do empathize with them because it’s hard to break out of a mindset you were raised to have.
yes, but main issue like said the christian wing is dead.
honest issue is cost for delivering the babbies & after care/adoptions.

Am I forgetting anyone?
You forgot about the Doomers.

Can you imagine the candidate for Brazil or Mexico was some african/indian woman? They would lose in a landslide no matter what policies they had. Reality doesn't lie with human nature no matter how much you indoctrinate them.

That is also how I felt. As soon as I got over the scare that I was about to see him die on camera, and realized he'd be fine, I said "That just won him the election".
I say this as someone who is not necessarily in the MAGA movement (because political saviors are not a real thing, and I'm not a conservative): that moment is powerful not just because of the iconography but because Trump knew he was hit, couldn't have known how badly he was hurt, could only have made split-second assumptions about why he was shot... and his instinct was to be defiant for the crowd in what might have been his last moments.

That is very telling about his character in a way that can't be faked. And his opponents all would have hidden like little bitches.

@Chuckwagon I apologize for my misunderstanding and have edited my initial response to reflect that.

Thank you for clarifying your thoughts for me.

On the topic of prayer, I understand it is already voluntarily allowed so long as it does not disrupt learning or lectures. My state of Texas for example offers a moment of silent daily for prayers to be done in schools. Not sure if other states do the same.
That's the problem though, Engel v. Vitale didn't just axe mandatory school prayer but voluntary prayer as well: in fact the prayer the case was about was already entirely voluntary (students could easily opt out and were not penalized for doing so) and pan-Christian rather than specifically Protestant.
Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our country. Amen.
The Warren Court, AKA the worst Supreme Court in American history to date, also ruled that equally voluntary Bible readings and recitations of the Our Father was illegal in the next year's case, Abingdon School District v. Schempp. Liberals have since run wild with the rulings to purge anything resembling public displays of Christian faith from schools as much as they were able, resulting in students being effectively banned from praying at school except under extremely specific controlled circumstances, and facing suspensions & other punishments if they so much as accidentally put one toe out of the line their red educators have drawn for them. Also even teachers could now be fired simply for privately praying and being joined in prayer by their students.

The game plan was to eventually completely suppress personal religious observance in public (a thing the proto-fedora tippers behind Engel and Abingdon claimed totally would never happen, but I'm sure we all know how much a crypto-Marxist's promises are worth by now) via increasingly strict applications of the de-facto state-atheist Lemon test derived from another case based on Abingdon & Engel, something finally derailed only with the case relevant to the teacher who stood up against the latter in Kennedy v. Bremerton School District (decided against said state atheists in 2022 alongside Roe by Trump's SCOTUS). Texas is Texas and thus less likely to go in that direction than places like Oregon & Washington, but I don't doubt for a second that if Kennedy had gone the other way the Communists in the teachers' lobby would've started using the precedent to push similar restrictions in more conservative states like Texas too.

In hindsight this shit was 100% one of the first wedges to get God out & Marxism into the schools, and it's way past time the Supreme Court struck it down on First Amendment grounds and more. I'm not too fussed by a lack of movement on refighting the gay marriage stuff as I said, hell Vance's patron Peter Thiel is gay so I doubt anything would actually happen about it under his presidency either (dooming by alphabet soup Redditors aside), but I do actually hope for something to be done about school prayer in Trump's second term because this really was the start of the Marxist assault on American Christianity and Christian-derived culture from the early 1960s onward. I expect sealing the border, drastically curbing immigration, mass deportations of the illegals already in America and advancing election integrity to be the 2nd Trump administration's main priorities over any culture war stuff but there's no reason they can't walk & chew gum at the same time, and next to cracking down on troons the first root of many of today's societal cancers is a good place to start as well.
