The difference in expectation was obvious. Most Trump supporters and Republicans have been inundated with Kamala advertisements and media campaigning, to the point where most of the people I knew thought he was going to lose no matter what. I kept to the polls, and believed that Trump had a fairly good chance of victory, but that Kamala might win. Meanwhile, the Harris supporters got high on their own supply, so to speak.

There's a point where the over-saturation of fake astroturf makes it obvious and begins to backfire though. The Harris campaign reached that point about two months ago. It became insulting to the average person's intelligence.
