Most autistic thing you've purchased lately - c'mon feel the cringe

Taco Bell with cash even though I have two Taco Bell gift cards
Gift cards are good to stash away. I've found that I always crave X so much more when I don't have cash. Similar to me not drinking alcohol for many months, but suddenly being hit by the overpowering urge to go on a massive bender when my doctor says, "No alcohol until you've finished this course of meds".

Should Farms-related matters arise where I can be there in the future, the SED badge will be my identifier. Especially the Balldo sentencing.

Not sure if this counts, but slowly replacing as much of the plastic in my house as possible.
Got rid of the plastic cutting boards and replacing them with wooden ones that I'm currently seasoning with mineral oil.
Also got a few wooden cooking utensils as well since they were <$2 each.
Yes, it was IKEA. Yes, I kept saying "MOOPFLOP" in my head over and over.

Be careful with cheap wooden moopflops. Some of them are made from wood that's impossible to season. Some I've sanded down and soaked in oil for a straight week and they still managed to be dry and rough as the Simpson. I'd also advise against bamboo boards and moopflops, too.

I'll keep that in mind. That said, only the boards are bamboo and warming up your oil is usually enough to help it open up the pores to soak in. I also keep receipts and I'm petty enough to return a $2 item.

Preordered a few Diorama Cats 2025 desk and wall calendars because I love cats and trains. This cat shelter/cafe in Osaka started as a train diorama cafe, but after closing down during covid, the owner let a stray mother cat and her kittens move in to the unused restaurant. Reopened and pivoted to cat/train cafe and cat shelter and is pretty successful now, with staff and a vet taking care of over 150 cats that either become permanent cafe residents or get adopted out. The train layout is obviously pretty wrecked from all the cat love. Loads of detail was either removed for cat safety or destroyed by the cats, so the layout is now fully optimized for cat lounging and chasing trains.
