I expect children and teens to be self absorbed. It’s a phase that as parents, you grit your teeth about, patiently try to correct behaviour and influence ideation and even knowing the kids eventually grow out of it, it can be hard to take.

Most of what I know about troons is informed by posts here, including captures of what they say on various social media that’s brought here. That and a couple I am ‘forced’ to interact with.

I don’t know what percentage of troons are as histrionic and attention seeking as those I see reported on here but reading a lot of it is tiring. Having to constantly interact with them must be downright exhausting. They all seem to have an emotional age of 13.

They have such shallow ideas of women versus men. There’s no room for nuance or acceptance that men and women are unique individuals, not a meme.

Seeing all the suicide-baiting makes me wonder: just how did this act become so common? I can understand if they do actually legit have mental illness like severe depression. I have been there, too. And while it's true there are trannies out there who do have such mental issues, it feels to me like a lot of them aren't actually that type.

I understand that this whole thing is a social phenomenon, that kids are more or less just copying each other, and they think it's a good way to persuade other people to do what you want. But have they never thought about how... pathetic it is?

I'm not sure exactly what led to this. I personally think it's a separate issue in itself, though intertwined with the whole transsexualism thing. Have we normalized these kinds of things too much?

Suicide baiting isn’t just a trans phenomenon. It’s a tool of the narcissist to exert control.
