Did anyone check up on that one newscaster that during election night was malding over the electoral college and calling it dumb and that things should be decided by popular vote?
(This was before we knew Trump would win the popular vote)

It's one thing that separates Biden's and Kamala's campaigns. Biden's was "return to normalcy" and some fake gestures about "unity", Kamala's was full mask-off "We're Not Going Back".
Was that her actual campaign slogan? It's not even remotely empowering. Obama's worked because it was using "we" and "can." It was about the collective doing. Biden's was dumb but at least it wasn't fear based because it was using words like build and better.

This is just basic slogan 101. Always keep it positive

An independent won Maine senate seat.
She's not really an independent. it's just another Bernie Sanders situation. She says she's "independent" but she will vote Dem 99.999% of the time.

The Dem label was so caustic this election in Maine they thought it better to run as a independent rather then a Dem but trust me, that a blue Senate seat again.

One thing I hope comes out of the win is that there's some way George Soros, and the WEF, can be forcibly removed from US politics. I mean, imagine being a Barny Fife in the dead center of America, you're ready to put away some Venezuelan gangster for murdering someone, and you find out that your local judge who's younger than your sidearm is a diversity hire who got elected because a fucking Hungarian communist threw a half billion dollars at her. Or that out of county (or even state) protestors organized by an NGO based in Switzerland are on the verge of rioting outside of the courthouse.

I saw it on a campaign sign heading back from the voting polls. I don't think it was official like on the DNC-sponsored signs but derived from one of her speeches and popular enough to make it to make it to various yard signs.

His argument is seemingly that they just decide who goes in and make up the numbers completely.
This is incorrect. He says the votes don't matter because they don't. What matters is how the electoral college votes. The electoral college members vote the way their states vote because they don't want to be lynched.

The Supreme Court never intervenes for 2 reasons: 1) states determine the rules of their elections and 2) the popular vote is ceremonial. It acts as a barometer for how the members of the electoral college should vote, but they are technically under no obligation to vote the people's will.

Woquery has created hundreds of thousands of mentally-ill wokesters who infest Merikkka's Eddjukayshun system, HR departments, meejah, Starbucks barristas, you name it....and Woquery has instructed these foot soldiers that Trump is literally Hitler....with a dose of "by any means necessary"......and some"if you could go back in time and murder baby Hitler, would you?".....one of these non-binary, purple-haired, multi face-piercing wierdos is gonna get hold of a rifle, get some training, and assassinate Trump, so as to be on the right side of history, or some shit....which will then move Vance into position of president....

in short, i predict an assassination and a Vance presidency...

All I'm saying is that one side thinks that lifting, combat sports, and firearms are so fascist they've never touched iron in their life and believe that being a four hundred pound blob is empowering.
I think I'll be ok.
Curtis Yarvin once mused that votes should be weighted according to max bench press or number of owned guns to reflect the actual outcome of the simulated civil war more accurately.

He has a few paragraphs in his memoir about their relationship. She's a lawyer and they met through his mentor, Amy Chua. It's been like five years since I read it, but I recall a bit about his mind being blown cause her family gave books as Christmas presents.
That's the best kind of Christmas present: Knowledge and Imagination.

Was looking for information on post-election suicides this time and I didn't see anything immediate and apparent. I think this might bullshit.

However, theres a paper from 2011 about post-election suicides between '81 and '05. Completely different world from our own, however research is research baby.

I don't have a WaPo subscription and the archive doesn't grab the article, but someone should post it here for that sweet, sweet salt.
If an election is going to make you want to kill yourself, honestly go ahead. To me that's messed up. How much radically different can a leader do in a democratic society? They are not going to make it radically different. The basics of a democratic society will still be there. I'd be more worried if america wasn't a stable democracy but it is for the most part. Sure there are things to fix but it's not the end of the world.

This is a late reply, but can we all take a moment to appreciate just how pathetic these slogans are compared to Make America Great Again? Not even the people dumb enough to have voted for Biden or Cumswalla can remember them.

While it's true they have time to DFE before Trump is sword in, I'm looking forward to the JFK, Epstein and Diddy files.

Yeah... The media reaction is also weird.
All I hear is that it's racist, sexist, misogynist, black men are a problem, and hispanic men are a problem.
I don't think think a Jan 6 event is replicable on the Dem side
Jan 6 was only possible because of the rally that Trump called for and organized. Trump can actually get people to show up, Kamala cannot. Democrat riot mobs occurred to some degree at the Trump inauguration (mild and contained), again after a state of the union address, and during the Floyd riots. It's a mix of antifa, BLM, and paid Soros goons depending on the situation. They need a backdrop or context to really start shit. Also after J6, it is probably much more difficult to engage in shenanigans.
Do you forget the summer of 2020?
Was able to happen because of covid lockdowns.
Besides, she just lost again, while Trump... despite all odds... won bigly. I certainly don't think there was a steal this time.

Lake sucks. I'm sorry. She needs to fuck off.
Sheesh, if she can't take AZ with the Trump bump it's time to fuck off.

Decision Desk just dropped the Republican chances to keep the house to 85%. It's high was 94%. Anyone been keeping up on it?

All this revolutionary larping is hilarious.
“GROW YOUR OWN POTATOES, READ A BOOK ABOUT ANARCHISTS”, when all it’s gonna do is amount to the same shit we’ve been experiencing for 8 years now.
I’m not particularly someone whose in favor of Trump for some of his policy choices, but man does it feel cathartic to see these fucking losers freak the fuck out. If there’s anything more loathsome, it’s Democrats and retarded leftists.
If you want to know what the brave xisterhood's survival tactics will amount to, look no further than the CHAZ vegetable garden
