Here's a theory that I like:

The transgender issue rose to prominence precisely after the left won on gay marriage.

You had all these activists, all these fundraising networks, all this political machinery whose express purpose had just been achieved. If you are naive, you might expect them to say "Job's done, time to go home," shut it all down and go away. But instead, it all got funneled into the next gay marriage - trans rights.

When you have an army, you need a war for them to fight or else they start pillaging the countryside. Everyone lobbying and running the NGOs get fucking rich off of it too. That helps.

Rate me with rainbows, but I do feel that Trump will get more shit done this time for a few reasons.
One, I heard he has his own goon squad as the transition team. He has stated that he now understands the "Deep State" better and that last time he was too trustful of people around him who had ulterior motives, not just politicians but the background workers. I think he's more prepared this time to deal with internal fuckery.
Two, even enforcing the most basic of basic shit will almost immediately improve the lives of Americans. The border is the massive one, even just sending back a ton of the imported squelchers would rapidly increase job opportunities for Americans and cut down on costs of living because of basic supply vs. demand.
Three, I really really like Vance. Mainly because he is able to fully articulate what actions he and this administration want to do, why they want to do it, and how they believe it will solve problems. When you can explain all that to the American vooter in plain English, it's a lot harder to sit on your asses and do nothing because it's easier for the people to hold you accountable for what you said.
And last but not least, if he can appoint the people he says he will for the positions he says he will that would be fucking awesome. RFK is the one most interesting to me, and he is genuinely very well read and committed to the health of our nation. Elon is a sperg, but he's a sperg who by necessity of his businesses deeply understands manufacturing and trade. And don't even get me started on the border, the name is slipping my mind but that guy is going on a tear about how he can't wait to shoot illegals out of a cannon or whatever he just needs to be let loose.
So, yeah, I'm optimistic and hope things work out.
