Every single one of those surgery results is objectively worse than what the patient started out with. Surprisingly, the facial surgeries look the worst to me, especially the MtF ones. The ‘after’ pics look like AI, they’re so uncanny valley. Weird and creepy and not at all natural looking.

Yep. Seems that way. But I also think, that this was once the other way around, not in the very beginning - Esteemed colleague of Drs. Hirschfeld and Mengele, Dachau resident Doctor Gohrbrand comes to mind - but let's say 50, 60, 70 and 80s. It once was a pushing the envelope thing, no hacks allowed, because it's a complex and hour-long surgery.
