And if they can be that nasty to people they're friendly with who did nothing at all them, I really have doubts that they would ever be someone you could rely on or trust regarding anything serious.

How the system -should- work and how it -has- worked are two very different things. If anything this represents the Thin Veneer of Corruption which is necessary for the system -to- work. A return to the low-level corruption that was acceptable because they made sure that the populace also go what they needed.

A Constitutional Amendment is just about the only way for Trump to legally do a lot of what he wants. Which will be a hard sell. Unless the mid terms go -fantastically- well, it would need to be done by 38 of the 50 states. And with 20 of those being pretty firmly democrat... does not seem likely.

One thing I never understood is how people ignore technological innovation and progress when it comes to illegals. What's gonna happen when we don't need Pepito and Juana picking the strawberries because machines are doing it? What's the excuse for drowning the taxpayer with a shitskin burden when everything a McDonald's is automated aside for the dude in charge of not fixing the ice cream machine?

It's happening sooner rather than later, democratic shitholes are forcing companies to innovative so as to not pay the outlandish minimum wages they ask for. Are we meant to import the third world and fund them while they destroy our cities?
