Term limits for Congress seems popular with the left and right. The right gets to see Pelosi go down to it. The left gets McConnell.

The reason to oppose is they lose their power players. Arguably only a skilled hand like McConnel was able to navigate giving Trump Supreme picks. Pelosi did major tard wrangling. But i would love to see the congress critters explain why they voted no.

In the late, great new USPG thread (PBUH), I started a list of all the things that saved the OUR DEMOCRACY™ for real and asked for any suggestions. Here is what I put together with all the suggestions I remember:

  3. disaffected Latinos
  4. white women (leftoids blaming us hard)
  5. a dead squirrel and raccoon
  6. 20 million Democrat voters mysteriously staying home
  7. TROONS and DOODS
  8. Joe Biden resigning (JOEVER)
  9. a baby hippo in Thailand
  10. McDonald's
  11. garbage trucks
  12. Obama (thanks Obama!)
  13. blue haired Palestine supporters
  14. Amerimutt soyjak named Crooks
  15. TOO BIG TO RIG

Now that I think about it, Asian-American men might have already broken for Trump. Because I assume that there is likely a 10+ point difference between Asian-American men and women. However, whenever I do a cursory search of voting margins for 2024, they don't necessarily differentiate between men and women for Asian-Americans. Depending on how large the gap between Asian-American men and Asian-American women actually is, they might have broken for Trump more than Latino men.

Maybe I'm pessimistic, but I feel like the lies will be "same stuff different name" rather than nonexistent. While I do believe that it will be reduced, it will still be there and be influential.
