Nah, Greta will just set up more fundraising campaigns on the back of this. She'll manage to swing it into free housing, free travel, and doing nothing for at least the next year.

Having worked for a phone hotline before, it honestly should not be that hard to have at least one volunteer scheduled at any given time, especially given the low call volume and relatively low strain on volunteers (and the fact that their training is far too short especially for a phone line dedicated to suicide), our base volunteers got 8 hours of training over 4 sessions, and even those were required to transfer any sexual assault calls or suicide calls to a separate team. The saddest part to me is that they probably could make a positive difference in some people's lives with a proper management team.

Well, it's the Internet. It's possible to maintain all this from India. The issue becomes paying Nina for the work when he's abroad. Greta can't write a check to herself for twice minimum wage, split it cash with Nina, and then claim they both take home minimum wage. You need to start doing monthly wire transfers of several thousand dollars, and that's not good for optics.

No-one is logged in even though in early December they were talking about *paying* volunteers to answer the phones over the holiday period.

lol @ Bearjazz. These guys get death threats on an hourly basis. I doubt they're scared of someone threatening to "raise bureaucratic hell", even if they happen to be browsing the net looking for such threats.

Besides El Niño being deported, it would be great if Solomon Greta, the troons, and liberal bleeding hearts gained some self awareness out of this ordeal.

This was caused entirely by the actions and choices taken by Greta and Nina. Stop blaming immigration laws, Arizona, ICE, Trump, etc. They had the power to prevent and fix this and chose to scam for donations, renovate a kiddie rape van, and travel around the country instead.

Fuck them.

Actually, Nina was posting on Facebook prior to being detained. They made that post prior to anything happening. They were probably in line, looking at the checkpoint, and freaking out. Total admission of guilt and they freaked out and fucked up.
