I've held back my sperging for years on the whole Save the Squirrels bullshit but this legitimately makes me mad. These two fucktards found a baby squirrel and instead of getting it to a professional, trained rehabilitator ASAP they decided to film themselves poorly (and illegally) raising it for youtube clicks. There are leaves on the ground in the vid, meaning they found it probably a month or so ago, and while squirrel season only ends for like 6 weeks at best, peak season has long been over and their local wildlife rehabilitation center would have taken it no problem.

Also StS has been rich California asshole pseudo-conservation bullshit from the start. Yeah, if you have a problem animal actually causing damage, trap and release is better than other ways of dealing with it and gives the animal a chance. But the squirrels weren't anywhere near his house, they were out in the back of his how many acre yard and he just didn't want to look at the occasional hole. Instead he flooded his local park with way more animals than such a small area could support and had to gual to pat himself on the back for it. If he actualy gave a shit about the squirrels or the ecosystem he would have left them the fuck alone, pulled out all that dumb invasive crap he seeded his xeroscape with, and let his yard try its best to revert back to how it was before humans built houses over every viable area in the California hills.
