One quick moment since this thread is going so fast.
All the information you guys have been posting is killer and I can't believe of all the threads on all our boards this has the best discussion of immigration law without people picking fights so huge kudos.
If you're thinking of doing anything like emailing ICE or trolling their automailers or whatever, i can't stop you but I respectfully ask you don't. They're damaging they're own cause enough and all the pertinent information is being sent or already has been to the proper people. Don't cut your enemies rope when they're already hanging themselves with it.

Given that it's a holiday I doubt they have an actually retained a immigration lawyer, real bad timing for them it being Xmas/NYE week. If you were an established client with a lawyer you might get some assistance but finding a lawyer to take a time out of his vacation for a new troublesome client already in detention? No fucking way. She possibly has the number of either a "friend" volunteering to give a advice or a "trans legal help center" which would know jackshit about immigration policy. A typical lawyer cannot do anything with immigration, it's a specialized area of practice you have to have permission to practice in.
The fact that Greta throwing a public hissy fit and saying Nina could face discrimination back in India tells me no immigration lawyer worth a hill of beans has been giving her any sound advice or has even laid out the most basic shit for her. She is royally fucking Nina with her current online BS - in ways I won't be specific about because I want it to continue.

I think this is what I love most about this. This is a group of people who love nothing more than to post their fantasies about how they're going to smash the cistem and destroy their enemies and generally just wreck society's shit up. Yet now, when the shit has actually hit the fan, all they can do is screech some more. I've never seen a more impotent group of people, and I'm not just talking about the effects of the hormones.
