Trump is charismatic, but I don’t think he has the soothing personality required to lead the country during a potential crisis that would cause implementing the tariffs fully. I think it would be smarter to lay the groundwork and have Vance implement the tariffs and do fireside chats to assure the people everything will be ok.

I know this is late as hell, but congratulations on figuring out something that a lot of people twigged to almost ten years ago. I’m a sore loser myself, but it’s absolutely nothing compared to the shit these people fling at the slightest inconvenience.

hell I've said it before but I was LIVID when what I believed to be a steal happened in 2020. Sure I bitched about it in some DMs but you know what I did after that? Put a smile on and go to work so my family can still live in our house. I sat there and took it as the biden admin went from failure to failure and bided my time until 2024.

I cannot imagine how mentally weak and how much self awareness you must lack to be to throw a literal public tantrum over politics. Even if the worst possible thing happens if you are unable to directly change the outcome yourself crying doesn't do anything. as the stoics say, you can't control what is done to you, but you can always control how you react to it.

George Clooney is one of those people famous for being famous at this point. Trump was a similar case, but he owns a big merch brand, golf courses and is a real estate mogul. I have no idea what Clooney does these days, the only time we ever hear about him is when he's dictating the DNC (somehow.)

Clooney is a big reason Trump won. According to his own words, he saw Biden struggling at an event and kept it to himself because he was protecting Biden. If he made a stink about it and made it public, it's theoretically possible others would give up on the ruse sooner and they could swap out candidates sooner, vet someone, run a real primary and have someone not as trash as Harris, or at least give her more time to learn how to not suck as a candidate. This, on top of causing a lot of distrust on celebrities, the media, et cetera that were running cover for him then months later were swooning over Harris. I think a lot of day-to-day folks are finally coming to terms that Oprah doesn't speak to them; she speaks at them. Basically, the whole "protect Biden because Trump will be worse"" thing just bit them in the ass and at the bare minimum, cost them the Senate and likely the House.
