...I cannot stress how unappetizing this looks. If you're going to make comfort food slop, you serve it a bowl and thrown something green on top to break up the color. You don't just pile it on a plate to be seen in all of its slop glory.

There are a ton of great tasting comfort foods that don't look particularly appetising but most of us aren't putting them on display when we make them and we already know they taste good. By contrast, Nick is trying to convince us that his food tastes good in spite of the fact that it looks like shit and we saw exactly what went into it.

I think these streams are partly about having evidence for CPS that the kids are being taken care of and that family is providing support. Far too much of the kids lives is being exposed to public view for it to be anything else.
