Nigga do you think we're going to go out of our way to get some huge antiquated box and a 30 to 40 year old console just to play something like super mario world? It doesn't always look terrible like the example you are showing, some pixel art stands on its own. What about emulation? You could make the same argument with VHS filters or those ugly smooth filters modern emulators have as well. It seems elitist that unless you have this console from your childhood, you have to go out of the way to shell out money just to play a console that could fail at any point, that's why emulation is legal, and calling it "playing it wrong" shows how much of a nostalgia baited retard you are.

I get the modern day perception of pixel art comes from zoomers emulating after the fact, but does this minute detail about not even just the new retro slop coming out, but the original games really matter? It's about the COMPOSITION and ARTSTYLE that falls on it's head, it's the fact these troons go out of their way to try to make their games look terrible.

But is your CRT better than a modern display? The Philips/Magnavox shitbox from your grandma's house has been e-waste tier since the day it was bought.
Speaking of ManlyBadassHero, it was interesting to see him in the special thanks on the Slay the Princess credits, after the devs publicly stated to not watch a playthrough like passive cattle and instead pirate and play it yourself.

I don't think the perception on pixel art is too modern, the gba is infamous for having dozens of snes ports that look identical to emulation aside from smaller screen space

I think I already posted in this thread months ago wondering why trannies seem to flock to "low poly" or ps1 like graphics like flies to shit so excuse my dementia if thats the case. Regardless it is a shame since I grew up with the ps1 and was glad people finally moved on from the pixelshit aesthetic.

That aside, I bought one or two games published by new blood (Faith being one of them) during the last sale I wasn't even aware that they were run by degenerates and trannies, thought it was just another one of those publishers who focused on boomer shooters, modern ports of old games with the odd indie game like faith.

With the way I see it, this artstyle is similar to training wheels for people dipping their toes in 3D game design. However once the users of this style end up profiting heavily while still using the same barebones art method, that’s a bit of a problem.
I believe this style can be done well but people often use it as an excuse to be lazy, especially in cases where they make the animations as choppy as possible. I think this should be discouraged if you’re “moving up”, because it’s more like training wheels than anything. People should upgrade their skills as time goes on.

Never, in all my life, have I seen a real woman dress this garishly. Hell, Boy George didn't even go this far when he was on stage. The game is a good recreation of the old internet, nailed it pretty close, however the devs ban people from their community hub on steam over the smallest criticism (like "why are they shoehorning marxist propaganda" or "the ending is bad").
I still think it's a lovely simulator, I just wish we could reminisce about the past and how silly web 1.0 was without the Current Year slop being added to everything, but yeah it won't happen.

I can't decide whether this screams bpd woman or troon the loudest (edit: found the dev's twitter, I still can't tell but probably ugly troon with an edited chin), but I have no doubt this pile of shit attracts troons like flies. It's purposefully horrible the same way Cruelty Squad is, but it's all about dEprEshuN aNd lyFe this time, with cute cartoon characters in "funny" painful situations with "funny" violence inflicted on them, with earrape sounds playing constantly, with saturated colors that clash, you get the point.


Edit: Apparently xir/xer just makes everything obnoxiously ugly because it's probably artistic and we just don't get it.
