Didn't her kickstarter net $80k? Doesn't she pull in over $3k a month on patreon? Who knows how much she banked from the donations for the game jam that never materialized and CON which has yet to release any information as to what they've actually done to counter online harassment.

Dangerous has a release date of March 14, 2017. Given that he's claimed to be "writing a book about #GamerGate" towards the end of 2014 and his success reporting on the subject, it's not much of a grasp imagine him retooling a lot of the work on #GamerGate book into Dangerous.

To extrapolate further, this is a far bigger deal to Chelsea and anti-GamerGate because it's a book which is likely to directly reference and investigate their doings. In addition to being more thorough and coherent than a series of articles penned over several months on Breitbart, it's also part of the public sphere. It's a lot easier for the public to start talking about a controversial Simon & Schuster book than to talk about an article posted to a partisan news site. In addition to that, if its selling streak continues then it's on track to monopolize the narrative on #GamerGate.

That's the problem for Chelsea, Milo has effectively leapfrogged the traditional gatekeepers of gaming and social media which Chelsea has relied on for narrative control. That's why they're freaking out so much about trying to get his publisher to renege or a boycott or something to prevent the publication or distribution of Dangerous - if the book gets published, the first taste normies get of #GamerGate will be through that book. Hell, even in a best-case scenario where Milo doesn't mention Chelsea, Nyberg, CON, etc. by name, just having people thinking of Milo rather than Chelsea when they hear #GamerGate spell ruin for this "career" she's carved out for herself.

The imbecile doesn't even have a completed draft. Oh yeah, I'd definitely be holding my breath for a 2017 release when you haven't turned in your draft to your editor and are talking about stuff that "needs" to be in the book.
