Brianna, there's a bit of a difference between "standing up to bullies" and "using backchannels to get my way."

In fact, that kind of makes... you the bully, donnit?

And I work 50 hours a week and have my own side business so I really don't have time to effectively volunteer. I would try to signal boost Wu as well but but she is extremely off brand for the social media vibe I try to push out there.

Trying to be civil with someone while simultaneously publicly trashing them on Twitter is a REALLY bad habit for a politician to have. If she were to do that with one of her colleagues or even worse, a foreign nation or just general area of interest it could land her in some very deep shit.

Not that I believe Wu is going to make it in politics mind you, I'm just citing this as a reason why she'd make an exceptionally terrible politician.

I seem to remember some people unpersoning John for having coffee with Brad Wardell, because of crass humor at the workplace.
I also can't help but notice that John doesn't seem to be that concerned by the enablers of Bill Kristol, who whispers into some powerful ears things that result in a lot of dead people.

That said, if past boycotts are a predictor of future behavior, then Wu will be buying a lot of S&S books in 2017.

If he does mention Flynt, it'll be to call him an attention whore who spent more time inventing a paranoid fantasy fiction about GamerGate than he did actually working on the game he claimed they were targeting him for.
