I do not have any doubt that Nick has, or at least has attempted to, involve his kids in his sexual escapades. It really can't be overstated how much Nick has fried his brain with booze and drugs. If the thought that any of this might be illegal even crossed his mind at any point, he immediately waved it away because he's delusional enough to actually believe that soundbite of his about how lawyers are magicians who can make anything disappear with the right trick.

It's probably more that he thought he could leak that one screenshot, "thank" whoever "supplied" it to him to throw people off his trail, damage Aaron's reputation, and get away with it. He didn't realize that pedophile Patrick Melton, who has been trusted by Nick with all the sordid details, would spill so much that it would tip Aaron off before the screenshot was leaked. He also didn't realize Aaron could discover where and when it was being accessed and by which devices on his own.

It's already been pointed out, but Nick is 100% fucked. The computer forensics involved in establishing Nick's guilt will be trivial should they subpoena the proper parties for the evidence. If he sent any emails from Aaron's email account, he's doomed. Even if he destroyed every electronic in his possession, or even every possession he has ever owned ever, the evidence still persists outside of his control which he can never destroy or obfuscate.

Let's pretend for a moment that our mystery hacker isn't Nick or April or someone else in the Rekieta household. Why would they censor this part? Well, because it could be that they're also logged into their own personal Google account on this Google Chrome browser which isn't operating in incognito mode while committing these crimes, and they feel that they could be identified by their profile picture being visible. Any hacker who can infiltrate Aaron's account like this wouldn't be doing it in a Google Chrome browser while logged in with their own Google account. Full stop. If they were logged into any Google account, it'd be Aaron's account, and thus it'd be Aaron's profile picture there.

But do you know who would censor that? Well, if Aaron was left logged in on one of Rekieta's devices, Nick is high on unidentified brown substances and has only just discovered this, then starts documenting it all in a narcissistic stupor, he'd need to censor his Google account's profile picture or else reveal that it was himself who had exploited this unauthorized access. Besides, even if someone else hacked Aaron and then started supplying these to Nick (with which Nick is now attempting the most obvious witness intimidation imaginable), investigators would still want to find out from Nick who actually did supply these to him. That'd make the second extraneous person Nick is tied to who is intimidating the same exact witness in the same exact case.
