"Gooning" and "gooner" sound so fucking retarded. How did this even catch on? Were "porn addict" or "chronic masturbator" too mean or something?
I second this. I have no idea when or how it became socially-acceptable to (proudly) label yourself as a porn-addicted loser. I don't know if it's supposed to sound 'cutesy' to make it more """ironic""" or easier to talk to kids about but 99% of people I've ever heard using this are degenerates using it to describe themselves in mixed company.

And when "people of color" vote "wrong", SJWs turn on them. Like a soy said there "needs to be a conversation" with Latino voters after Trump won, or something like that.
And by "conversation" the fatass greenhair means the dumb beaner with internalized whatever needs to shut up while the white woman tells him what to think.

Tourist, due to the fact it's only used to condone the degenerate parts of various media.
It's funny because the people using that term don't even live in Japan.
What the fuck is "oomfie"? Some vtuber shit?
One of my followers/friends + ie. It's used by people who want to tweet about someone without directly naming them.

I've been hearing "girlie" and "girlie pop" more these days from a certain type of white woman/teenage girl, the same sort who spend all their free time watching TikTok so I imagine they're either getting it from there or possibly from drag queens/drag subculture because that's where a lot of other female zoomer-isms used primarily among the hyper feminine sorts like "yass queen" and "slay" come from. It's the same type of irritating as when those exact same types back when I was in high school would leave comments in the general vein of "love youuhh xoxo" on each other's Facebook/Myspace/Bebo profiles. I can only see these sorts switching to Live Laugh Love once they're older and married with kids, exact same sort of boring cliche terms repeated simply because everyone else is doing it.

I always thought that being offended by the word “moist” was a stupid trend.
I don't know if this is where the majority of people got it from, but this was definitely a big thing in Britain around 2013/2014 because of the comedy show Miranda (there was an American version of this with Mayim Bialik, but it got cancelled for being so atrocious). I think it probably spread from there.
