Weird question, is contrapoints even relevant in the current sphere of breadtube?
Honestly, I think he has fallen off to most terminally online leftists that make up the majority of the Breadtube audience. Most terminally online leftsists now see Hbomberguy as the main breadtuber. Contrapoints also gets into a lot of hot water with a lot of the Free Palestine people because he is (allegedly) a Zionist.

The leftist love to talk about the fascism purity spiral and yet the only purity spiral I've seen in recent years has come from them.

Small breadtuber Salari cries about people cancelling their Patreon subs to him because they didn't like what he said, and likens it to "financial abuse" and triggering his "psychological trauma".

Some sharp commenters noted that this whinging stands in sharp contrast to when earlier in the video he said that he doesn't believe cancel culture exists, and that those being "canceled" probably deserved it. (around the 23:30 mark).

He said that he lost about 20 patrons which is at most $100 a month looking at his Patreon. Let me reiterate: this dude is legit having a mental breakdown over losing <= $100 a month of patrons. He could make that amount back by working a shift of a retail job, but noooooo in the clip he said he can't because of his PTSD. It should also be noted that this dude only uploads once a month and streams 2 hours a week.

Has youtube pulled their thumb off the scale or something. Because this is the 2nd leftist retard to complain about this.

"Holding someone's income hostage is also a form of financial abuse." Yeah, if you don't tip your waiter, that's financial abuse!

Could someone explain the logic behind "I can't work because PTSD"? I know it doesn't make sense but I really can't wrap my head around how PTSD in particular could hinder you from working at McDonald's or whatever. What, does customer service give you PTSD? Did some middle-aged woman get angry when you took too long to prepare her fries, and the memory of her paralyzing glare still haunts you to this day?

No because fascist disagreements are actually on legitimate policy not personal petty grievances and the people who stir drama are usually people no one like

right wing drama is just as prevalent you just have to be very keyed in to understand what people are talking about

Falling off implies the culture has evolved and left you behind, but breadtube is utterly stagnant. Basically contra should have fallen off (and pretty much promised to do so in the cancelling video almost 5 years ago) but nobody has done anything remotely original since. Another video would get millions of views and any controversial take would stir up a shitton of drama.

So he hasn't made a video in a long time, ok that makes sense. Didn't he plan to do a video on vaush after the loli controversy?

It could theoretically, but I don't want to speak those conditions into existence for fear of munchies.

The fact that Breadtube calls the Right "fascist" these days goes to show they lost the meaning of the term. It's basically just a by-word for "bad guy" at this point for them.

Fasicsm wants a strong, central government acting like an imperial state, with the leader getting whatever he wants.

The Right wants less government, more power to local states, which is what Trump did during the Lockdown; he refused to take more power and allowed the local governments to handle things like COVID and the Summer of Love riots.

If anything, the Right is more Feudalist than Fascist. They want local powers and groups like the Church to have more of a say in the world, they want more privatized services instead of public utilities, it's basically very Feudal in nature where local centers of power and religious authority can kneecap the state if they want to.

Breadtube is only good for Trump Meltdown videos these days. That's all they fucking do.

Breadtubers be like: facism is evil it killed millions of people and promote an authoritan government, anyway lets talk about why communism is 1000% morally right on everything.

That's because the white has actual legitimate factions there are actual fascists who are on the right wing but the few and far between because people who actually understand fascism don't really go around parading in the streets they mainly hang out in their intellectual circles and write really boring books no one is going to read

Yeah it's almost like the right wing has a lot more different groups of ideological people rather than just fascists and Nazis as monarchists distributors right wing libertarians reactionary absolutists republicanists and for some reason a lot of techno optimists

Even among the fascists of the 1940s, there were distinctions. There's the conservative fascism promoted by Benito Mussolini of Italy and perfected by Francisco Franco of Spain, where instead of going after untermenschen you try to use the state to create an efficient system; Mussolini didn't give much of a hoot about race politics and even accepted thousands of Jews into the Italian Fascist party, and Franco allowed Jews fleeing Vichy France and the Nazis to settle in Spain, while his Portuguese buddy Antonio Salazar promoted traditional Catholicism and openly decried Hitler's racial theories.

Speaking of the guy, Hitler's fascism had more to do with racial theory than the others; it combined racial theory with mysticism, Germanic paganism, and centralized state control. They were so autistic about race, to the point where even Hitler's minions, who all hated Jews, could have fierce debates on what makes a person Jewish or German, and how to deal with them. Hitler wanted to create an ethnostate of Germans and Germanic Europeans where Norse people would be welcome, while Jews and Slavs would be thrown out the door, or failing that, thrown into the oven, which is what eventually happened to them.

Yeah it's almost like the right wing has a lot more different groups of ideological people rather than just fascists and Nazis as monarchists distributors right wing libertarians reactionary absolutists republicanists and for some reason a lot of techno optimists
Basically, if the modern right in America got everything they wanted, we'd see more privatization of services like healthcare, police, education, and the like, and the central government would be only as strong as the local politicians and religious leaders let it be. Individuals like Elon Musk would have the kind of status that sets them apart from the masses, while groups like the Mormons and the Catholic Church would have way more power in daily life, and each state in the USA would be close to being its own self-governing republic rather than an appendage of a greater whole.

It'd be a modern version of feudalism, not fascism.
