IMPORTANT NEWS:

Elon Musk's X brought back the gun emoji.

Our 2A rights will not be thwarted.

What’s especially funny is the original design is a fucking Barney Miller gun that wouldn’t look out of place in a Saturday morning cartoon, i.e. culturally harmless. Apple changes the design for virtue signaling. and Musk comes back with a much more referentially violent M1911 design.

It’s symbolic of the past eight years as a whole.

lmao, Don Jr. is fully going against Mitch the Bitch. The Trumps are now aware.

Sadly I'd compare her to Sarah Palin too. Damaged goods that way. I think Beto and Abrams could still run and get Democrat support. I think Lake's career is done.
Palin would have won a house seat if McConnell hadnt put ranked choice voting in place in Alaska to protect Murkowski's seat against other Republicans.

If Alaska kills ranked choice she may win a seat in 2022 if she tries again.

Russia, India and China are the 3 biggest exporters of all major food staples, with the exception of Corn, which is the USA by and large.

Rice, Wheat, Potatoes, Sugar etc all come from Russia, India and China, 3 major members of BRICS. When retards say "lol, BRICS is a meme, US dollar wins" they're coping. Without BRICS export of food, the west would starve.
BRICS simps are really the dumbest

The EU throws away more food a year (~160 million tons) than it imports (~140 million tons)

75% of US food imports come from Mexico. Number 2 is Canada. Number 3 is the EU. Finally, Brazil is 4th and China 5th

The top importers of food to the UK (which imports 40% of its food) are the Dutch, the French, the Belgians, and the Irish

Australia imports about 10% of its food

The West does not need food imports from BRICS countries. The only exception to this is (possibly) Japan (which imports 60% of its food)

An interesting poll/article i found:
(don't know the source of the info because it doesn't really say, but if it's even close to the truth, and given the election results, i'm willing to bet it's close on most issues, it's pretty interesting)
This also seems to be a democrat commentator and maybe even poll.. so if anything, bias going the other way.

Raw data: What the American public thinks of culture war issues

How big an impact did culture war issues have on Donald Trump winning the election? Here is recent public polling on a variety of hot button issues:

blog_polls_culture-3.jpg

On the old warhorses of guns and abortion, liberals have long held an edge. Large majorities say abortion should be generally legal vs. generally illegal, and voting on abortion initiatives in the states confirms this.

But liberals are underwater practically everywhere else. Small majorities are uncomfortable with they/them pronouns, and building a wall along the border with Mexico has gotten more popular. It's now a majority view.

Other issues have swung harder in the conservative direction. Large majorities favor tougher policing, even among Black voters. Ditto for opposition to affirmative action. Trans issues are more nuanced: large majorities support anti-discrimination laws for trans people, but similarly large majorities oppose both the use of puberty blockers among teens and biological boys competing in girls' sports.

Views of the Middle East are complicated, but on the straightforward question of Israel vs. Hamas, Americans favor Israel by a huge margin. They also approve of Israel's bombing of Lebanon.

Finally, most Americans support some kind of path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, but large majorities also say immigration is a very serious problem and we should reduce the level of immigration. Small majorities even favor mass deportation.

By itself, none of this dictates what either liberals or Democrats should do. But there's never any benefit to sticking our heads in the sand. We should at least acknowledge what we're up against.

McConnell was always going to be a target if Trump got back in the White House. Couldn't be a better time to fully excise him as Mitch's mental and physical health have been in decline the past couple of years.
