It just goes to show how much of a monster he really is that the first thing he does is either attempt suicide or fake it, in an effort to divert attention away from the logs to something else (his cryptic "I'm ok" hospital post).
Just like when mandarysmilan tried to explain how fucked up he was, he diverted attention by claiming she was a totally insane Nazi!!! Or when lowtax tried to talk about the real Dave, oh he's a terrible drunk slavedriver!
Shmorky will do anything to deflect attention away from the obvious fact that he is a seriously fucked in the head predator, because that's what predators do. They don't know how to do anything else because that's just who they are.

@carefully was clearly trying to steer clear of sex shit and Shmorky does the cyber equivalent of grabbing their hand and putting it on his crotch.
I really hope Lowtax is sending his daughter to a psychologist because he's not equipped to deal with real life as evidenced by this thread. This is creepy, creepy shit and anything could have happened while Lowtax was passed out in an alcoholic coma over the years. Shmorky is selfish and manipulative enough to prey on his kids, I would bet my life on that.
Something Awful was always plagued by the sort of person Shmorky was. In my teens I started reading the front page because it clicked with the sort of humor I liked, like Onion style satirical comedy and some of the dark humor. Later for me it became a drama engine and a curiosity. I never touched "goon culture" because it always seemed like everyone there had something wrong with them, ranging from specifically eccentric to actual balls out sociopath.
Back in like 2010 there used to be this fucking awful Fyad-loose-moderation-style gaming forum called Your Console Sucks that near the end of its run ended up with about 200 of the creepiest motherfuckers I'd ever seen. The cultural atmosphere of the forum was seriously surreal and toxic, you had guys who were obvious shut-in perverts behaving like they were Comedy Kings of Sardonic and Ironic Humor. There was one guy there who really stood out somehow and I kept reporting him but nothing was ever done. The Finn, a moderator at the time, eventually and probably begrudgingly banned him because he was openly talking about appreciating some artist that I Googled and it turned out to be photo-realistic lolicon. I have no doubt in my mind that guy looked at real child porno. They eventually got rid of the forum but the given reason was that "it sucked" and not because it was a very obvious hive of freaks. The guy who posted that shit migrated over to the offsite replacement forum "Bad Game" and was of course welcomed with open arms.
And of course there was Aatrek, who all these people probably conversed with for years and they were somehow too stupid or too acomodating (based on my experience probably the latter) to know was a child rapist.
People always complain about the super serious incel nerds with "gender dysphoria" in their mid 30's that popped up on SA later but it got way, way worse than that and I got the sense the administration mocked me for bringing up the problems any reasonable person would have issues with. There's just no way the environment wasn't on some level deliberate. It was probably a combination of pathological apathy and a need to preserve the sad little moderator echo chamber at any cost. Yet Lowtax is clowning on Shmorky like all this wasn't entirely his fault.
