I think it's funny that Autumn describes the piece as "familiar" despite the fact that she doesn't even have a sex life. she's never had one, so how is this anyway familiar to her? Is it just me, or does the left leg on the cat(?) look huge compared to her right leg, it seems so off to me. Unlike the old art of these two that at least TRIES to establish some character with some backstory and struggles (albeit briefly), now all the art feels very "gaze-y" like it's sole purpose is for Autumn to ogle at like how fujos and incels fetishize gay men and lesbians. Ship art and porn was always very tacky to begin with and whatever, it's not really a crime but to try and pass this off as wholesome rubs me the wrong way. We don't need "proof" that these two love eachother by what goes on in their bedroom, the old art where they're just enjoying their company conveyed this MUCH better.

To be fair, the colour palette and shading does give me some nostalgia. I guess them being so close to each other could bring comfort to someone, so I guess that's what she means by "familiar," but like it's porn lol. If you remove the gay furries and improve the background it'd be nostalgic for me.

There's a fascinating historical fiction novel by Toni Morrison called Beloved. It's a character study of a black woman after the civil war who did an extreme thing in the name of freedom and how actions and beliefs continue to impact herself and her remaining family. It's a fascinating piece of literature and absolutely worth a read if you don't mind dark themes and magical realism confusion.

And then Autumn has drawn more transgressive lesbian PiV furry porn. Truly, Autumn is the master of black transgressive fiction and deep character study. She should be up there with all the other famous black authors for her stunning and brave drawing of a furry sloppily making out with another black coded furry.
