IANAL as far as I could tell, with Nick and Aaron living in the same state and with no banking info involved, it remains within MN's authority.
If he sent it to Melton then that aspect involved him sending the information across state lines. I doubt the feds would be interested in such a minor case anyway, though.

I would not be the least bit surprised if Balldoman was disbarred and in jail awaiting his trial date by the end of the week. It seems like he committed multiple crimes in the process of accessing and disseminating Aaron's information.
Disbarment doesn't move anywhere near that fast.

I thought the talk of feds came about because the charges would fall under what was outlined with the CFAA, and because there were possible implications of Nick breaching not just confidential lawyer/client information related to the revenge porn case, but potentially prosecutorial information related to Nick's case.

edit: fucked up the link

I'm interested in whether any of these trinkets are ones we've seen in the side-ho house or main house before, or if she's scrapped herself off Nick to go visit her family.
Oh man, as much as April brought all this on herself, imagine the loneliness and sadness in taking a snap of some dusty, chintzy ornaments left behind in the empty house you are temporarily occupying while awaiting legal consequences and then getting kicked down the road, and trying to make some patriotic Content out of it, to prove everything is fine and normal.

Nick has given credence to these ideas and has so much confidence in them that he's reiterating them on his own.
If you’re right, we won’t be wondering for long.

There’s no way on earth the little prince could restrain himself from bragging online if he legit believed he had magic powers over his foes

I think it’s worse than that. If you wander into someone’s house, as long as you don’t break or steal anything, you’re not actually doing anything criminal (you might get shot though).
It's at least criminal trespass if you have no reason to think you have permission to be there. That's usually a trivial crime, but it isn't legal.

Nick has said is in congruency with this view. He believes that blood magick can not only empower these demons, but protect them against the will of Yahweh and they will return the favor by making Nick's wishes come true.
Yeah I gotta admit that shit about God being "bound by the right words" and "blood sacrifice" and the shit he was saying made me do a double take.
Starting to think that thing about the Sonichu Demon being an egregore of the collective ill will of the Internet might have something to it.

I'm also wondering what exactly Nick has been reading or who he's been talking to to get those sort of idea into his head.
It's pretty specific and not something you're gonna pick up a Sunday School.

That said Nick is a fucking wetbrained moron.
That stuff requires Willpower and concentration.
I don't think Nick has either.

That whitebread ass nigga would Richard Pryor himself if he tried that.
You are underestimating his hood credentials. I saw his pics with his real skin color showing, that nigga is pure Yoruba.

Imagine being oppressed to the point of hiding your real skin color? It´s no coincidence he broke the way he did, the amount of pressure on the shoulders of this black man...

That was most certainly a supervised visit, with supervised being the grandparents.

On one hand, it's good the grandparents have their shit together as it means that the kids aren't facing fostercare.

Wasn't that posted the same day that one of his streams showed Nick's mom wandering around in the garden? If it wasn't the same day, it was the day before or the day after.

Surprising that the foster care duties fall to Nick's parents rather than Kayla's though. Don't they live in Florida? Kayla's family is just down the road. I'd love to know what the backstory there is. Nothing good, I'm sure.

Honestly, Rekieta’s unhinged quote tweet of Warski’s one year of sobriety is the most convincing proof to me that Nick is back on the sauce. No sober person would react like that to another sober person’s successful recovery.

Misery loves company. After addiction sets in, the only time anybody will offer you a free hit is when they hear you've managed to achieve some sobriety. I don't think it's out of malice -- I think consciously, they believe they're doing you a favour. Subconsciously though, addicts hate to see somebody getting off the reservation while they're still stuck there.

[SNIP], in short: You're a wizard, Nicky!
I am absolutely willing to believe that Nick tried some "magick" for depressed teenagers - some combination of Crowley, LaVey and New Age mixed with gnostic beliefs and a lot of cooming.
He already thinks he's special and the smartest. It's not far from there to convince himself that he has mystical powers, especially if one of the retards who surround him already practiced it.
Believing that they have magic powers is another common lolcow trait (Chris, Pam Swain, Melinda Scott, Dana Cain).

…and it ends up on KF where they’re discussing where you’re living, who you’re fucking, and what drugs you’re doing. Lmao. What a life.

@Friend of Dorothy Parker posted the MN law -

(b) A person is guilty of a misdemeanor if the person intentionally: [...]
(3) trespasses on the premises of another and, without claim of right, refuses to depart from the premises on demand of the lawful possessor;
(4) occupies or enters the dwelling or locked or posted building of another, without claim of right or consent of the owner or the consent of one who has the right to give consent, except in an emergency situation;

3) only becomes criminal if you fail to depart when told.

4) does seem to be criminal if it’s a dwelling, fair enough. Other buildings seem to be fair game if they are not locked, that’s what I was thinking of.

I wouldn't be surprised both sets of grandparents are helping out unless it's a situation where like Kayla's folks blame Nick and vice versa, and I could see that get messy but even then, I have to imagine both sets would place the priority on the welfare of the grandkids.

It's not like they are the alcoholic, crackhead, swingers in the extended family.
