A lot of people prefer the og animal crossing's map style to the rolling pin style camera they started implementing from what I remember about talk involving the animal crossing games over the years. The GC AC definitely had the best character interactions, AC these days is far too sanitized so as to not offend anyone. I liked when the animals would get pissed off and rant at the player.

sometimes i dream of making a little multiplayer action game riffing artistically on spiral knights but able to be hosted by anyone akin to most source games & minecraft. a game like webfishing reminds me there's unfortunately not much visible demand for this kind of thing, which sucks, but at the very least i still wanna play around with doing a fun mp game one day.
i did play buckshot roulette's recently added multiplayer with a friend and genuinely thought it was great. the game itself has an ok retroshit look, if you look past the le god is dead shit it's a very interesting game to play and now being able to play against up to other 3 people who are in on how it works is like a game of very deadly uno. i have not looked into the dev's social media and i intend to keep it that way.

What would any rational, well adjusted adult have a purpose for an 18+ lobby in a kids game? I am greatly curious as to why such a thing would even occur in the first place.
