You have to go so incredibly far out of your way to find anything left-leaning in the game that it's comical, and that's probably the most political thing in the game (unless you count one or two gay flags in "about me" sections as political).

I can't decide whether this screams bpd woman or troon the loudest (edit: found the dev's twitter, I still can't tell but probably ugly troon with an edited chin), but I have no doubt this pile of shit attracts troons like flies. His first order of business on being added to the game was adding said Second Life OC "snake" as a craftable robot variant.

The main developer, MrDrNose or whatever the fuck he calls himself now, isn't a groomer however; in fact, despite being a unrepentant shitposting perverted Russian ex-pat, he has made his game-related shitcord channels eighteen-plus, requiring phone number verification and therefore enraging his (largely Russian) underage audience into putting out multiple (.docx attached) hit pieces on him, all of which amount to 20k word wet farts by children buttmad they don't get to look at highly specific porn anymore. He has previously made a Baldi's Basics spoof game ("Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski") with a child protagonist which features one of his OCs and her used dildo.
Despite that, it's still got prime troonslop potential: It has received Twitter endorsement from Gooseworx (archive), and features multiple associated 'toobers as collectibles in-game, at least one of which is a inflation fetish gay furry with a Schmorky-tier gay sidekick. It also has a community predictably made of snowflakes, to no-one's surprise. I'm mildly surprised that there are no ugly nation flags in the game – you have to put them in yourself via extensive customization. Likely the only reason there isn't further infiltration is MrDrNose himself.
The worst part is that it could be a pretty cool game without all the furry/borderline tranny shit. Slow-burn alien horror disguised as a mildly quirky job sim? That kind of game is all the craze right now.

I downloaded this game aiming to play it blind, and forgot to. It's probably for the best that I didn't get the kind of jumpscare that I wasn't asking for.
Voices of the Void has potential but as per usual it's all completely squandered. It's the typical Unreal 5 slop where despite looking like a GoldSource game it'll make your GPU spin up to full power and you'll still get stutters constantly. The premise seems cool until you're a couple hours in and you realize instead of a horror themed video game version of the movie Contact it's just another busywork simulator where something mildly spooky happens every couple hours. Maybe I was doing it wrong or something but even when I tried tracking down the aliens they don't do anything. There are a couple that run around the edge of the map at night and sometimes some space ships hover over a spot and that's about it. I've seen things online that suggest more stuff can happen, like the aliens show up at the base, but the game is not interesting enough to warrant waiting that long and it seems like all the aliens are just the dev's fursona so it'd probably be gay and retarded and ultimately a let down anyways. The main mechanic of scanning for signals and then recording them basically just consists of pressing a couple buttons and then waiting for something to happen so it's not like there's anything to stick around for aside from the supposed horror or atmosphere or whatever people say this game has. I can't help but feel like the whole game is highly reminiscent of a half-baked GMod gamemode, which the UI tries real hard to ape the style of. I don't know why they didn't just go with that, it probably would have at least run better.

I know there's a doomworld thread showing uncountable examples of this, but it's so difficult for me to associate Doom with transgender freaks. I can't wrap my brain around such a badass, beloved, dare I say masculine, game being loved by troons of all people.

honestly i think the most glaring problem most retroshit have is they understand nothing of presentation. they only see everything through high resolution 4K lenses and imitate things from there. almost no games of this kind know how to do something properly with it. they are low poly because they can't do any better, not because they know how to make something appealing. i've written about this in the premiere retroon's thread.
and maybe appealing is the keyword. it's easy to just look mediocre and "so retro". you need the courage to try. troons don't try, because they can get away with mediocrity, xisters will clap any which way. you have to draw from a lot of sources to know what works, what doesn't, what feels right. troons just play the kinds of games you'd find in a /v/ 3x3 image or worse, they fucking watch playthroughs because xe game is too clunky and makes xir dilate. you will not make it without exposing yourself to all kinds of genres, not only in games but animation, movies, books, what have you.

I bought and played webfishing to see what the hype was about and honestly? I think it's an okay little game and my main complaints have nothing to do with anything woke.
The main issues I have are:
I like the graphical style, but the colour palette is puke.
The lobbies lag on my (very good) computer when there's like 25+ people in them.
18+ lobbies should probably be hidden by default.
The world is flat and not rounded like ACNL, something that would have complemented the style.
Mechanically the game works well and I think the fishing is better than in most other games I've played, but you'd kind of hope it would be given it's the main feature of the game and not just a minigame.
It's kind of a boring game, but it's easy to zone out and get stuck in the fishing gameplay loop. I spent at least an hour fishing before I realized it had been so long. If you were under the influence of something you'd easily lose an entire evening to it.

It's an animal game, animals wear collars. It's kind of weird, but I would hardly call it a slam dunk against the game.
