Fucking EA, man. I updated to get the latest kits today and since my Sim was expecting I decided to decorate the nursery with the new Storybook nursery stuff.

Unless you use the default black ~goth~ color (ugh) good luck creating a matching nursery. The items in the kit don't have all the same color swatches. This is why TS3 is superior.

The furniture in this shot is all from the new kit. The chair is blue, the shelf is yellow, the changing table and bassinet are tan-ish. I don't use lighting mods, so these are the colors in the game. Kind of blah if you ask me. The rocking chair that comes with the kit cannot be used to rock the newborn. I haven't tried it with an infant, but that's ridiculous.

Secondly, see that blanket? This is immediately after aging the kid up because I hate newborns. It hovers in mid-air and lowers itself to the floor, but it missed the blanket the interaction put down on the floor. Fucking EA.

Thirdly, my Sim mom here tried to reach into the toy box to get the kid a toy, since the toy box said the kid hasn't learned the "reach" milestone. Fair enough, except that mom couldn't reach into the toy box for the same reason. She's an adult, why can't she reach into the toy box? I'm using the new toy box, maybe that's the problem.

In any case I sure am glad I sail the high seas for this game.

The first 2 TS4 Creator Kits have been revealed:

EA said that the creators were compensated, but didn't state how much, either as a flat one-time sum, or a percentage of the kit sales.

I hope one of those creators comes out to cry about EA paying them peanuts. I've already seen dumb comments like "I'm glad creators are getting the recognition they deserve". Bitch why do you care so much about them? They're greedy jews and would force people to pay $100 for a shitty recolor if they could.
Edit: I just realized I described EA.

People didn't like the humorous patch notes because they reflect poorly on how buggy The Sims 4 has been and still is. If the game was overall polished, humorous patch notes would have been seen positively.

True, but the franchise is known to run on spaghetti code, all the way back to Sims 2, despite people liking Sims 3 patch notes. I think the reason why people dislike the humorous patch notes now is because of Sims 4 being soulless on top of being super buggy. Releasing humorous patch notes now is basically the devs saying "looks how bad we are, laugh at with us. And buy the infinite expansion packs."

The new neighborhood in the Life & Death EP has the expected gender-special Sims, typical in today's TS4:

And yet EA was too chicken to use the actual Xi pronoun, out of the fear of provoking Xi Jinping's wrath again, like how China banned Battlefield 4 years ago.

Nervous having a real name is kinda cool, but I don't like that Olive has another husband that's also Nervous stepfather. It's a good thing TS4 takes place in an alternate universe (while also fucking it). Also why is Nervous a nigger now? He was white in TS2.
