I feel pretty confident in saying there isn't an active genocide happening to Native Americans, if native people were actually being genocided it'd be trending more than Palestine/Gaza news. However it seems like they get murdered a lot

This documentary called Thunder Bay is about that topic, might skim through it later since it's on Crave. A lot of the Youtube comments allude to the fact that Thunder Bay is a shithole where a lot of people get murdered regardless of their race so maybe the documentary's pointless.
Idk about those claims of genociding American indigenouses though. If I were to guess what's going on there, it's probably a similar situation to what's going on in Canada where it's not really genocide that's happening to them, but more like a combination of apathy and neglect with some occasional (maybe frequent) murders going on in their communities that get ignored because of the apathy/neglect.
I hate the overuse of the word genocide, I'm downplaying murders over here because while tragic, that shit's not on the scale of a genocide as there was no attempt at ethnic cleansing. I blame the troons for popularizing calling everything a genocide.
