I always felt the problem with politics in stories its not the politics per se, but how they are handled.
People now a days seem to forget to tell a story and make characters.
A lot of stories are basically just "IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH ME POLITICALLY YOU MUST DIE"
and characters are just soulless mouth pieces who only reason to exists is to regurgitate the Writer's political views.

YES. there are stories with politics on them but the author manages to make them a part of an actually engaging story AND the characters have personalities and motivations outside of their politics.
They also some times try to humanize the "other side" or at least individuals on that "other side", and give them a chance to change their minds.
Now a days they would have that "other side" be as irredeemable as possible and the story portraying them as bad as possible and have them mercilessly killed.

Leftist have a very "you are either with me or against me" mentality now that I think about.
and you MUST be 100% on their side. If you agree only 99.99%, that 00.01% makes you literally Hitler in their eyes.

Why do they always lean into the bixnood caricature shit in these edits? Like yeah black people have lighter skin around the palms but it's a fucking gradual shading thing not just "ah yes the hand looks almost animal like" thing like they did here. Usually if something has flat-ish anime style shading they just completely omit the gradient from the bottom of the hand because realism isn't the intent and shading shit like this looks fucking weird and wrong.
