Bill Nye is a joke at the expense of science. He represents the worst aspects of the modern scientific community, he's to scientists what the Big Bang Theory show was to science.

You know what sucks? Bill Nye the Science Guy, the original show, is actually really good. I've been babysitting my cousin, his mother has a list of approved shows he is allowed to watch, and Bill Nye is one of them. When my cousin asked to watch it, I braced myself for stupidity. After what I've seen of Bill Nye, I worried if he was going to make my cousin dumber or gender confused.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well produced the show was. It was actually funny, actually entertaining, and more importantly, it actually taught critical thinking skills and real science. I was blown away that this guy explaining how how electricity works was somehow the same guy in that cringy "Sex Junk" """science"""" video. It's shocking to see how far this guy has fallen.

I'm not exaggerating when I say the old show is good. It's a crying shame that there are no modern day STEM shows like the old Bill Nye or The Magic School Bus.

If tariffs are enacted, they will only limit American trade and likely lower revenue over time. Some manufacturing will rise in the US, but every time that happens, it lowers the revenue from the tariffs, so then what?

Again, you're missing the big point. The US' current inflation is all manufactured by the government. We weren't pushed into inflation by random circumstances, we were deliberately legislated into it by the Federal government. Once you take those legislations away, the market can recorrect itself. You cannot trade yourself into prosperity. This an economic fallacy. If you produce nothing, you're worth nothing. That's how the game has been since the beginning of time. The point is to increase profits by cutting down the overseas shipping. Ocean shipping is ridiculously expensive. It's nearly $50 now in just clean energy fees alone, meaning if you drive a truck into the state of California they bill you for it just because the truck runs on fucking diesel. You people have no grasp on the amount of money wasted by US companies on shipping.

You're not wrong. I have it for my kids when they get a bit older. Hoping by that time hos scientist celebrity phase has long since passed so they don't get suckered in like so many of my peers.

Trump's team was only watching out for fraud in the presidential election I think. A mistake in my opinion if true, but not a super costly one. They've still got the majority in the house and senate, just not as big of one as they could have.

The house and senate elections are state focused, so the problem with the fraud there lies with the election commission and the lack of state republicans doing anything about it. I'm guessing that the RNC is seeing how things shake out when everything is "counted" before doing anything about it, if they do anything at all. The way to fix fraud isn't for the RNC to swoop in with lawyers and lawsuits; it needs to be done at the state level. I do think after the election the RNC needs to apply pressure to these republican parties in questionable states to fix the election inconsistencies--and I'm being generous with the term.

The point still stands that he is not a person who has been a long-time Trump "loyalist" as he only started getting into politics in 2021 when he started going off against environmental, social and corporate governance.

I see this as a plus--he's not politically entrenched. Trump's pool of choices is so tiny, there's bound to be questionable picks. Vance proved that people can realize they're wrong and can change their minds, but it's good to be skeptical about anyone and anything related to politics.

Now I support Deportations as I think they are funny, but to Steelman them.

Deporting millions of people is, first of all, going to be a shit show of logistics, and then there is the issue of the jobs illegals perform that Americans do not want to do for the price.
Republican districts are more affected by this than many others, so there will be a pushback. However, I still support it as it is funny.

And I could be right about tariffs, but I also think there is somewhat of a pullback because more and more seem to understand that tariffs are a tax on Americans and won't fix shit, but again I support it because it is funny.

Imagine having ICE, Border Patrol, and Homeland Security all on the same page and doing the same mission--deporting illegals. Couple that with an ongoing excising of bureaucratic bloat, and the logistics might not be as nightmarish as they seem now.

Also, it's an absolute fallacy that people won't work grunt jobs. There are plenty of people who enjoy working with their hands, being outside, being physically active instead of sitting at a desk in a cubicle with fluorescent lights shining down on them twelve hours a day. Farming is satisfying work, so is construction, road crew, janitorial and maid work, etc. The problem does come down to pay--if a person gets paid more to sit at home and do nothing compared to going out and working, why wouldn't you take the better pay even though it's dishonest? Delete the excess gibs, shrink the drug trade, change the elitist outlook on working class/blue collar jobs and guess what? American citizens will go to work again.
