I'm convinced that Musk buying Twitter and implementing the community notes system was a cultural turning point. I get to see so much goofy shit on there it's unreal. I love lunatics like this one so much. Went through the posts pretty far back and it's just an unrelenting tidal wave of impotent NPC rage, it's glorious. All caps unhinged schizo rants are probably the only redeeming feature of modern social media.

As much I know I may regret this wish, but I do sometimes wish a bug or virus would infect smart phones all over the world so that you can't reach social media on them.
You want your social media fix? Get on a fucking PC. Only flip phones and slide phones (I miss my slide out keyboards, I fucking loved my blackberry) work now.
Only then will MySpace regain it's place as the dominant social media network and Tom will be the rightful king of the social networking world.

I've heard a few times from this thread over his donation to BLM, and as disgusting as it is, I find his actual actions to be more disgusting.
I can chalk up his donations to him being a public figure and it being expected of him (still doesn't excuse it), but what I hate about this asswipe is he'll do shit like the public dead daddy therapy session, inviting all his young impressionable fans to his private life, (just read his comments, it's full of kids calling him by his real name, and acting like they are life long besties) then he'll make a big brouhaha over those parasocial fans showing up to his home.
You dumb fucking mick, you lead them all to believe that they are your friends, draw the line and cement it instead of wanting it both ways.

A few years back Pewdiepie did a stream of Ghost of Tsushima, and for one brief moment his PS gamertag/name/handle whatever was shown. Within a minute he was bombarded with messages and friend requests to the point it visibly pissed him the fuck off, and he said blatantly "we are not friends, fuck off"
I believe it was this point where he decided to quit Youtube as he used to do it. He still posts but it's mostly family vlog shit and it's pretty few and far between. He brought in on himself, but I respect that he drew the line, even with his apology for "being harsh" you could tell he was done.
