Gunther is aware. But that's not the only victory he's celebrating today.
An interesting thing I never really considered about Gunther, re: his hatred of Russia. For his entire life, energy concerns have kept his beloved Austria from his other beloved, NATO. Gunther correctly identifies that as Soviet and later Russian intent. Yeah he's still fighting the Cold War, but It makes perfect sense if you're Gunther. Well, enjoy the win Meinen Fuehrer.
But all is not well. Fueled by these victories, Gunther has broken free of The Crystals and is challenging Elon again. The issue is Elon's new position streamlining the government. (I'm not playing into Elon's r*ddit joke by giving it a name.) Elon has gone beyond The Pale, and threatened something dear to Gunther. Something he would be incomplete without. Bureaucracy. When the World was silent, Gunther stood in defense of the useless pencil pushers and regulatory busy bodies of the federal government.
"The nine most efficient words in the English language are 'I'm from ze government and I am here to help" -Gunther. It's an interesting departure from his low taxes, pro business, strong defense Reaganism.
But don't blame Elon, he can't help it. It's in his blood. He is, may Franz Joseph forgive me for uttering the word, a Serbian.

I've been hoping for it this since the thread started but the Irish have refused to respond to the bait and just treat him like a homeless man mumbling to himself. As for his preferences, he prefers Ireland reunited.. in NATO, which is what really counts. He's also stated that the UK must beware The Irish Anschluss and the UVF are working with the Serbs.

Gunther is the gentleman's lolcow. Unlike others (Rackets, Ralph, icuckkkz, etc.) he doesn't bite the hand that feeds him. He works in the bureaucracy after all.
