So I've heard a bunch of progs claim that “trump will turn America into a a fascist state” and why only question to that is, why do they consider fascism to be evil? Like many of these same progs openly support communism and user, but they donest consider that evil. Fascist statses often censor or kill opposing people but so did the communist ones. Is it because fascist leaders are bigoted, well so were communist one as well. So why do they consider fascism evil when they themselves support an ideolgnthat has also killed millions of people?

Fascism was a violent, continent wide rebellion against the international social order of Europe, whereas Communism was never able to achieve the same thing. Remember how Russian "denazification" just meant killing people that hated Russia? That's how it also works for the rest of the western world. Fascism means, to a normal person, a government that's likely to kill them, and they don't care about who else gets killed or spared. Fascism also means, to the cathedral, a government that's likely to kill them, and they don't care about who else gets killed or spared. Being ideologically "subverted" is nothing to them, as long as the next thing still has some vague connection to their legacy, but being demolished, even for the same end result, will mean that their legacy is gone.

I'd love to see immigration from good parts of the world fast tracked into swing states.

I'd like to see immigration of all sorts severely limited. We do not have a need for workers that cannot be satisfied by US citizens, and bringing in visa workers and such only serves to depress wages which is why all major industries lobby for as many visa workers as possible.

I'm no fan of elon, I've had my fun lampooning his buttfuck retarded ideas like hyperloop and tunnels for tesla cars but what happened to twitter under elon is one of the best things that could happen to our government; cutting tons of dead weight moochers and removing stupid feel good regulations.

Having conversations with young leftists is confusing as fuck. Most of them are unaware that they hold two contradicting views at once:
a.) The labor force and working class are the backbone of American society and need to be valued and trusted.
b.) The labor force and the working class are uneducated and unintelligent, and it's looked down upon to hold a normal, working-class job.
In an earlier post on this site, I shit on a black-studies major who I said would end up as a barista. I probably should have worded it better (unconscious bias and all that). Theres nothing wrong with "ending up as a barista." However, if you go into black-studies, you should be highly aware of your limited job prospects. Unless you're secretly giving the University president handjobs in his office every Tuesday at 6 PM, you're probably not going to end up getting a well paying, knowledge driven job.
What I'm getting at is get the fuck over yourself man. Concrete workers and farmers and coffee-makers drive our fucking economy. Why give that role, that responsibility to someone who isn't even an American?

Modern leftism is a confusing miasma of top-down policy dictation by marxists and big business which have somehow aligned despite the obvious conflict of their interests if taken at face value. Eat the rich power to the people but import people to suppress wages and keep the debt based economy solvent, education for all but promote mental illness and degeneracy as normal, champion equality of outcome but force racial conflict as a method of social control and division, enforce medical tyranny while simultaneously destroying public health. Nothing the left does makes sense if you dive into it because there is an inherent conflict in just about everything that they say and do. At least neo cons make sense, they're just big business and big war.

I have a random question unrelated to Congress: what is the argument for pardoning Ross Ulbricht, the guy who ran Silk Road? To me, it seems like a pretty open and shut case of facilitating narcotics trafficking.

If I remember right a lot of the stuff he got popped for was shit he didn't actually do, mainly hiring hitmen to kill people. He thought he did it but the hitmen were just scammers. A good video on it.
