I wonder if Gallagher's office manager checks out a patient's facebook to make sure they aren't yeeting the teats of a lawyer's close relative. You wouldn't want a lawyer uncle who was skeptical about poonery but kept quiet to rush in with some pro bono work in after Aiden detranses.

It wouldn't surprise me. She clearly didn't do enough research with Blowhole Rylan, who was from an upper class family. Possibly genteel poverty class, but connected nonetheless. Gallagher actually has worked on patients and fucked them up that had clout. One was the daughter of a doctor, but I'm guessing a low-ranking doc-in-the-box at an emergency clinic. Usually, though, Gallagher targets public servant white trash.

But obviously it's hard to sue her, because many have wanted to and it fizzled out. Uncle Larry Lawyerberg might not want to do a pro bono job for his stupid niece. It takes a lot of time, and without malpractice insurance, we're talking years of work.

Going with the "no drains" method for a big gal was either negligence or hubris on Gallagher's part.

It's one of her selling points, and it makes sense. Nobody enjoys having surgical drains, these are young women who likely haven't had surgery before and don't do research beyond listening to a single surgeon and asking Reddit for anecdotes, and a lot of them claim to be triggered by blood. (Which doesn't seem very manly, especially since this is wound blood and not period blood, but I digress.)

It works in women with lower BMIs and with good luck: tack down the tissue and prevent seroma formation the same way you sew a quilt so the batting won't shift. Probably fewer post-op visits required, since the doctor doesn't have to check on amount of fluid collected, maybe write antibiotics if the drainage isn't reducing adequately in a couple of weeks, pop in while the MA finally removes the drains in-office. Definitely lets you take the picture and send the patient away across state lines, never to be seen again.

Maybe they don’t need to? If I remember Gallagher’s appearance on I Am Jazz correctly, Gallagher’s sister (?) was dating an FTM named Noah. Gallagher had operated on Noah, and Jazz, who was volunteering there, checked her blood pressure or something small like that. Noah became a recurring personality on the show, and she made it explicit that her family is not supportive. I believe she even said they kicked her out.

My point is that trooning out self-selects for the abused, poor, dysfunctional, beset with comorbidities, etc. Gallagher probably sits there, smiling blankly, and these kids trauma dump in her office. The mere fact that some of them show up alone could be enough of a tell. If a kid doesn’t mention her uncle diddling her, put her on the waitlist. She blabs about being facefucked by an uncle five minutes into the consultation? Let’s rev up that operating room!

This case does make me wonder though. Just how mangled are the ones who get the phallo taken off? Like we've seen it said they strip the skin off the clitoris if it's getting buried. I was being glib, but they use progressive tension sutures, and a lot of 'em, to reduce dead space while closing the flap. When used appropriately, the sutures make it difficult for a pocket of fluid to gather and slow healing. Abdominal illustration:

Normally a drain would be left in that space to sump out the fluid: the ideal end result is the same, but the drain is more for the patient to deal with (mentally and practically).

This is similar to the actual quilting part of a well-made, traditional quilt. A pattern of many seams goes across the whole things, running thread from the top layer all the way through to the backing to keep the middle layer of batting from all ending up in a wad in one end of the quilt.



But yeah, clearly there's a size and circulatory limit. If she's bragging about being the expert at this, part of Gallagher's expertise should be in spotting the cases where her technique won't work and she'll have to use drains.

The family jewels are in
Just got silicone implants with Dr. Peters. They're size 3 style 8 implants. I'm surprised my sack could fit 3's tbh but I'm also guessing from the style that they were shaved down a bit.
Feeling pretty good so far, just sore along with random sharp pains at the incision sites. Obviously super swollen atm. I'm stoked to see how everything settles in a next few weeks. Added a pre op pic for reference. Open to questions

My libido feels like it’s been extremely low since surgery. I’m 5 weeks post op. I crave to masturbate. I want to and I try but I just can’t get there. Nothing is working for me. I’ve tried some suction toys, air pulse, vibratos and nothing. But I really want to masturbate and orgasm. But I just am like “eh” When it comes to it. And nothing feels good. I also don’t feel my pleasure sensitivity. I can’t find that spot and I just can’t get anything to work.

I’m a tad annoyed. I’m having incontinence, to the point where I feel like I’m going crazy. Everything is always so moist and I can feel it drip out. I told my care team about this and she said it’s improper milking. Kinda pisses me off because I’m milking until I’m completely empty. It drips out the entire day. It’s not just a little here and there. It’s consistent little drips.
I’m going to speak to my primary care doctor about this and hope I get medication to help me with it. I’m super annoyed my doctor isn’t validating this issue because it truly is affecting my day to day and mental health. I’m a bit more than 5 weeks post op.
Has anyone else had this issue? I’m stressed going back to work. I don’t want to change my gauze every hour at work. Can medication help with that? I hate how this feels. It feels like a torture method. Drip. Drip. Drip.

Got home yesterday and am feeling pretty good! Pretty swollen at the moment, but the pain hasn’t really been too bad and I only needed Tylenol and Motrin while at the hospital. Mike and Beth were so nice and were always there if I had any questions or needed anything.

I’ve had some wound separation, but it doesn’t hurt too bad even though it looks insane. My doctor said it’s normal so I’m just gonna trust him

Most surgeries will need you to tack the different tissue layers together like that because dead space can promote infections. When the patient is too obese it makes everything worse, the lumps of fat quite literally get in your way while working and the sutures aren't as stable so wound dehiscence is common.
A doctor has to be insane to do elective surgeries on death fats, I have a feeling that with drains or not this would still have gone to shit.
