There's nothing to be gained by keeping it private. Keanu is in a completely other state. It's not like she's going to come rescue April and give her a place to stay.

Highlighting the lies Nick is telling the world and also giving the source may make things uncomfortable for April. But it could also force a final (real) break up and April could be required to actually get help for her substance addiction.

It's literally for her own good. She's in an incredibly dangerous situation. She lacks any resources of her own and she is dependent on an out of control narcissistic drug addicted rage faggot. The longer she stays in that situation, the more desperate she is going to get.

Going public with the truth is putting more pressure on Kayla and Nick's parents to deal with the reality or Nick's behavior instead of just having him gaslight everyone. It also could bring additional scrutiny on their relationship by CPS and law enforcement as well.

Being vague in anyway about the source of the information gives Nick wiggle room to tell everyone that it's just a rumor. This very public and well-source humiliation is the kind of thing Nick needs to get constantly before any structure is imposed on him.

I was taking some time off archiving things from Twitter because the situation is so very sickly deranged it was getting tough just reading it.
Rekieta seems to have April on a leash; she sounds desperate for his approval. This "relationship" is sick. It's repulsive.

The crisis began at 1:46am Minnesota time when Nick Rekieta responded "Huh?" after alerted by a Twitter user that it had become known he had missed a drug test (or had at least been late).

At 2:03am, a different Twitter user let Nick know that it had been Keanu who had blown the whistle on Nick's missed drug test.

At 3:08am, Nick responded that "On the list of things I care about, what Keanu says is pretty low."
At 3:16am, April responded to the same tweet, playing down the story.



At 3:23am, 6 minutes after the above tweet, April posted a new plea seemingly directed at Nick: "My lessons have been learned. Please afford me the chance to show you, instead of hurting."



April then began tweeting intermittently through the night until 7 in the morning denying that she had told Keanu that Nick has missed a drug test.



April publicly denounced Keanu at 6:47am.



Many of these tweets were already posted by @Third World Aristocrat above but I wanted to illustrate the timeline and the fact that April was up all night sending these bizarre messages.
