I give her an 8/10, she did pretty good here but like you said she ruins it once she gets to American refugees and tik tok and not being able to afford passports. It was a 10/10 before that she did great but yeah she messed up by talking too long. I don’t agree with her I’m just rating her based on the efficacy of her message and its ability to persuade people to actually hold the vigil

A passport card is much more restrictive than a regular book style, though, per the US Department of State website. You can’t even use it to fly to Canada.



A standard passport costs $130 in comparison. However, it is also valid for 10 years, and you can go anywhere however you want.



Even if Polissa managed to get a passport, that doesn’t account for other factors like how to qualify for refugee status, differing welfare systems abroad, general EU political fuckery, etc. Polly is much comfier than she thinks she is staying in Alabama (or Florida when she gets the itch again). Although the idea of her even visiting for a week is glorious. It’d be like Tess Holliday’s misadventures abroad, only less faux glam. The walking and fewer ADA style accommodations alone would kick her ass if she thought a couple blocks for the Witches Ride was an arduous endeavor.

Planning a rally or protest is a significant project involving logistics and communications. We know from years of observed experience that the people who will actually show up to a rally are a tiny fraction of the number of people who liked and shared the social media post. People just straight up don't put in the effort, and that's with an event that's been properly set up: e.g. A rally that has had regular advertising on socials, that has included a starting time and place, and has details on the kind of rally it will be.

Polissa expects everyone to self organise these rallies on her behalf, which won't happen of course, but even assuming she DID have a network of people willing to do it, a real community organiser would want some coordination over the whole event. What's she going to do if me and my anarchist buddies in Oakland decide to use the event to smash in storefronts and attack police while the hippy grandmas in Duluth politely apply for permits and have a sit in at the library? Would she be Ok with with the Free Palestine movement attending and waving their flags decrying zionist genocide and the US governments involvement? For that matter: is the aim of the rally to protest the Trump administration or to attack decades of policies that have hurt the working poor?

As always, the absolute worst possible thing for Polissa would be to get what she's asking for: hundreds of thousands of disaffected people descend on government buildings in her name with no cohesive message and no guiding principles and no control over their actions whatsoever. She could be the face of the Jimmy Dean's Breakfast Riots
