You are likely recalling Meme Copium's stream where he mentioned something about their first meeting. (He got the lore wrong that Nick showed up to the wrong place for Tae Kwon Do sign-ups)

Here is the actual story. It was from a time when they were hanging out early in their relationship:

For clarity, Kayla's introduction was at cheerleading tryouts. Both Nick and Kayla have recounted this a few times. Nick makes himself sound tougher, while Kayla's account sounds more realistic.

Nick would say that he caught Kayla on the rebound, which Kayla didn't appreciate. She had just gotten out of a relationship with someone named Peter (her first "real boyfriend"), and though she met Nick soon after, they didn't start their touchy relationship until later. Kayla clearly enjoyed teasing Nick (especially gay Nick), so the thong comment likely happened at some point. Nick claiming that Kayla was the one sending signals first sounds like ego.

The thong story was one among many things on the cutting room floor for the Kayla OP. Nick says the "can you see my thong?" line happened after they met. Nick then lies about Kayla being interested from the beginning (Nick would describe himself as being relentless despite being turned down repeatedly by Kayla in another stream).

Nick describes them as being handsy an making out when they were friends, which is also a misrepresentation as he implies that they were like that from the beginning. One of the reasons why Kayla said she wanted a gay best friend was because Kayla didn’t always want to feel pressured/hit on/under attack by the men around her (someone like the self-described "relentless" Nick). Kayla has told this story with her knowing what Nick was after at the time (it wasn’t her mind or personality). In the clip below, Nick is honest about wanting to "smash".

Nick goes on to describe a time when he accidentally went on a date with someone while in a relationship with Kayla. This actually complements what was revealed later about Nick and Kayla not being open about their relationship when it did start in an attempt to avoid labels and breaking up the “friend group” if they broke up. There was a lot of dishonesty in how they portrayed their relationship. Apparently, this would be a trend going forward.

I don't want to defend her, but I think you guys are forgetting she's paying for a lawyer (presumably she is the one paying). Lawyers don't do a bunch of work and then bill you later, they usually make you throw up cash in escrow to retain their services. She is probably beyond broke. And she fucking deserves it.
