Because they are incredibly sheltered. They think everyone with a skin color darker than tan just sits around singing kumbaya all day, or at the very most they will experience American Racism, which is getting a side eye every once in a while. They have no clue what real racism looks like, that they will actually be a second class citizen. They ain't hiring your ass even if you are half or quarter gaijin. They don't have cultural sensitivity training-they will cross the street or point at you. I remember seeing this one game, shibuya scramble? Where they could just say someone was "a foreign looking person" and that would be a perfect descriptor, because 99% of the country is perfectly homogenous.

Never heard of this game. Huh. I do know of some retards, or... (((felow whites))) that are trying to get restaurants to serve foreigners, and restaurants are instead doing the tactic of putting plaques of "if you can read this in Japanese, we are serving."
Either way, feeling unwelcome there would be a wakeup call. I guess they could always try to immigrate to Saudi Arabia or Israel, where the latter does blood tests to verify if you are Jewish or not (or so I'm told).

See, my guess is that even though Trump won in 2016, a lot of progressive media entered production/development after #LoveWins happened and the excutives who greenlit it all had yet to be hammered with the reality that this stuff just doesn't sell. They were only able to double down, like you said, because at the time the money was still good. For example, Disney was riding high off the Disney revival (2008-2016) and all the money they made off of Tangled, Wreck-it Ralph, Zootopia, and especially Frozen.
That would make a TON of sense, given how long production can take on projects, and just like how activist employees are like roaches, they swarm and for every ten you kill there’s another 100 somewhere, then with the current government and everything else circling around company’s, it’s not like they could course correct without some form of media frenzy a’la Gamer Gate and Anita Sarkeesian. Now? You have the most readily available excuse. Donald Trump. My only worry is that this will generate enough backlash that we see this an uptick in it after a while, instead of it dying a peasant’s death.

I feel like they're folding now because none of them expected Trump to win a second term. And now with the wokeness poison now starting to piss of the public, especially in Trump's America now, one of two things could happen. One: the amount of wokeness with decrease since the companies are now starting to see it doesn't turn a profit like they were told it would. Or two: the wokeness with only increase in response to the "rising empire" in retaliation to further "spread the message" and continuously tank products to the ground. Personally, I think 2 is more likely to happen, since a lot of the woke shit, like Dustborn for example, were made in response to the Trump presidency. I want to be wrong though but that's how I see it happening. Wokeness might not be gone forever like we'd all hope, and it might ramp up further even after he's out of office.

The second reply is on point: I would rather have someone who speaks seldom, likes to listen, and ponders what you have to say, and makes his feelings unknown to you - yet congratulates when you do well (and you KNOW when he does so) or punishes you when you don't, than this crap we have today of "*hugs* ^w^ everyone welcome!!!". One is a professional, the other is a roleplayer retard full of feelings, and perhaps an autistic. It's a comparison between a "Tywin Lannister" vs a "Spongebob Squarepants", and even then, Spongebob isn't that annoying.
I am not the best one to say, as I'm usually charged with some feelings in my posts. But I admire people like @Aero the Alcoholic Bat who I believe to be direct in his points.
I may not know what I'm speaking, but I heard there's a "Super Heroine Academy" or something along these lines that recently launched. I don't know why - but it sounds like a weird, slightly woke cartoon.
