One of the games on their itch page, "God Killer Brigade Ten Trillion", is a lazy CYOA. It's clearly attempting to create a metaphor or allegory. You, the second-person tranny protagonist, belong to a militant religious organisation which worships a patriarch god who is always referred to as "Him". Get it? Because you were assigned MALE. Except if metaphors only get in the way of meatpunk's objective of owning the fashies, why bother with this metaphorical framing device? Could it be that Heather Flowers, in fact, wants to create clever metaphor but lacks the skill and tact to do so? And hides behind an anti-art philosophy to pretend as if she's doing it on purpose?
I don't recommend playing any of her games, but if you feel like doubling over with laughter and a little pity, check out her collection of VERY short fiction, "Acts of God", a "horror" anthology. Self-admittedly inspired by the Scary Stories subreddit, in reality most of the stories therein are highschool tier philosophical waxing, or some thought experiment someone much smarter than Heather came up with, which she then abridged (while missing the point) and called it a story.
And yes, this anthology is published on her itch page. Because making games is haaaaard!
