For the French Fries –


Peel the sides of potatoes, leaving skin on the ends. Cut the potatoes into matchsticks (start with about 1/3 inch thick slices, then cut into sticks).

Fill a large bowl with filtered water and soak potatoes for at least 30 minutes (up to 24 hours). This will help remove the excess starch from the potatoes, make them crispier after frying, and keep them from oxidizing. Remove potatoes from the water to a clean kitchen towel and pat dry completely.


Heat tallow in a heavy stock pot or dutch oven fitted with a deep-fry thermometer to 325°F. We used about 5 cups of tallow, but this will vary on the size of your pot.

Add about two small handfuls of potatoes to the tallow. There should be about one inch of fat above the potatoes. Par cook until potatoes are light brown, 5 to 8 minutes. Manage heat to maintain 325°F (temperature will drop when potatoes are added). Remove potatoes, gently shaking off excess tallow, and let drain on wire rack set over a sheet pan. Repeat until all of the potatoes are par cooked.

Raise the temperature of the tallow to 350°F


Cook potatoes again, a couple handfuls at a time, until golden brown, about two minutes. Remove from tallow, shake off excess fat, and add to a large bowl. Season with kosher salt while shaking the bowl. Repeat this process until all potatoes are cooked. Enjoy immediately!

1. Add the beef fat to a stock pot. Gather the beef fat in a large stock pot, and heat to a low simmer. Low and slow temperatures while you render or the fat will result in a browned tallow with a funkier flavor, and it won’t be as white when it cools.
2. Slowly simmer to render the beef fat. During the cooking time, you will notice the fat slowly starts to render and cook. There will be a light simmer and small bubbles forming during the cooking process, but you don’t ever want a rolling boil. If your rendered fat starts bubbling too much, reduce the heat and stir well.
3. Strain. Straining is important. Impurities won’t taste great and can cause the tallow to spoil faster, so make sure to strain twice. The first strain is in a fine strainer to remove any large pieces, and the second uses cheesecloth, a coffee filter, or a paper towel to get all the final small pieces removed.
4. Use or store. You can use this immediately. It will remain a liquid until cooled where it will turn solid and white. Once you have your beef tallow cooked down and strained, store it in a lidded glass jar or container in the fridge for up to 3 months.

If you dont want to prep fries yourself, use walmart Great Value thin french fried potatoes. Apparently they're the most similar to actual McDonalds fries according to a former corporate chef for McDonalds. Add Mortons Salt for seasoning.

It's the smart call tbh. It lets him out of the leftoid accusations since they'd primarily focus on Trump doing it during recess, and it's not like he can really stop it anyway. Trump has other angles and like Massie said, "we recess, he's in". D's control California so hard its become an issue with their internal factions. The R's dont challenge state power and are county level powers only, so you get more fighting with a fellow D at this point than the R silos. The 3 big factions are San Fran shitlibs like Pelosi, Schiff and Gavin, Oakland niggers (Kamala was a bridge between the shit libs and niggers), and finally the Hispanic faction. Smaller but still wielding influence are the Sillicon Valley donor base, the Asians and the Hollywood faggots. They are less movers and more pieces on the board.

The Hispanic faction is getting uppity and tired of the shitlibs giving all the favors to the nigger faction. (See Trumps gains with Hispanics) White guilt doesnt work on them, and most of them are half white and the part of them that isnt, still isnt nigger. (The Aztecs had a for real if horribly brutal civilization and government). The Asian faction are also finding the niggers and shitlibs letting the niggers run amuck tiresome.

If Pelosi and her web of owed favors goes away it will weaken the white shitlib faction, and the nigger faction will declare its their turn, but the hispanic faction is why they rule California and is going to question and challenge this state of affairs. All of them so far have shown they will unite against any R. The "based hispanic" theory kept going nowhere because its not like the R's would actually GIVE anything to people who voted for them, the scraps the Dem's threw was still better than "lower taxes and thats it" that all the R's offered. Also at this point all the Mexicans have reached critical mass and want to keep the people south of Mexico the fuck out.

I’m pretty sure the next Democratic nominee will be Whitmer. For a few reasons, if @Gehenna and @Jaimas want to criticize my points go at it.

I'm not either of those guys, but I'll criticize your points anyway.

1. Her term is up in 2026 and she can’t run again. That’s two years to get donors, workshop messages, and try to mimic Trump’s 2024 campaign.

Good point and it would be a decent starting point for a Whitmer campaign.

2. She’s the DNC co-chair and headed Kamala’s campaign. It’ll likely be turned into a positive talking point that Whitmer helped make Kamala’s campaign competitive

No one wants to be connected to the Harris campaign after she got fucking slaughtered. Also, the DNC has a shitload of Vice Chairs right now, so the position is sort of meaningless.

3. She’s been set up for a while by the DNC. She gave the response to Trump’s 2020 state of the Union and she’s a progressive aligned with Ducksworth and gave homage to Pelosi and Schumer.

This election proved that Progressivism is not on the menu for the next few years. Tammy Duckworth is only relevant because she milked the fact that she's a cripple and a minority. All she's really known for is making a huge stink about Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

Edit to add: oh, yeah, and Duckworth was born in Thailand. Not even eligible, even though I've seen some people tout her in wishcasting articles.

4. She won reelection by a bigger margin than her first election. (Ignore that two Republican candidates were eliminated via a signature campaign fuckup that pretty much was political sabotage and the other was convicted of Jan 6 bullshit).

What you say to ignore there is actually quite relevant to the discussion of her margin.

5. She is a woman. The Democratic Party donors want a woman president more than they want to win. I think this is due to the teachers union, billionaire divorcees, and making abortion their big goal.

She looks like a cunt and she talks like one, too. Not even women like this schoolmarm, wannabe Ice Queen shit. There is a very good reason that Sarah Palin was popular before SNL went after her. Gretchen Whitmer is as palatable as Kathy Hochul.

I don’t think Newsom will have his looks in 4 years and 4 years of fighting Trump will make him look awful should Trump achieve 1/10 of what he is promising, especially if Trump gets on lowers energy costs.

Newsom's approval ratings in CA have tanked the last few years because the homeless and illegal situation has gotten out of control. He also has very little relevance outside of California. The same can be said for Gretchen Whitmer. The only time she got talked about in national news with any frequency was when FBI agents pretended to plot to kidnap her, and then the FBI got caught with its dick hanging out planning the entire thing.

Pritzker is fat and I would not have sex with him. Also, he has no term limits as governor and no one will vote for a big fat guy like him. He’s not Rob Ford.

Pritzker has big business ties and also he is Jewish. We will see a female president before we see a Jewish one.

As for potential 2028 Democratic candidates, this is my list of who's who in no particular order:

• Wes Moore, Governor of Maryland. He is black, he is young, he has very high approval ratings, he grew up in New York and isn't a retarded California limousine liberal, and he is well-connected. He is an 82nd Airborne veteran, a Rhodes scholar, and his wife is a good campaigner as well.
• Maura Healey, Governor of Massachusetts. She is young, could definitely crush Barack Obama in a one-on-one game of basketball, she's a lesbian, and she was an effective Attorney General of Massachusetts before running for governor. She is also conspicuously absent from the new coalition of governors forming to oppose Trump (formed by JB Pritzker), even though she was highly critical of Trump during his first term. To me, this indicates that she's planning something. Healey is also a very good lawyer. If she runs for president, imagine Kamala Harris, but competent.
• Mark Kelly, Senator of Arizona. He has had a very aggressive upward political career starting in 2016, he's a former astronaut, he is a Naval aviator, his wife survived an assassination attempt, he ticks all the Democrat platform boxes, and he's a white guy. My understanding is he was seriously considered as a VP pick for Harris. I'm not sure if he will run for president because that would put a lot of stress on his wife, but she's an excellent political prop.
• Raphael Warnock, Senator of Georgia. He is black, young, is a good speaker, has a strong religious background, is a healthcare reformer, won a tight run-off election, and checks all the Progressive boxes. Should he move up the ladder to this level, the Democrats will likely portray him as an MLK-type candidate.

They could also push Chris Murphy, the Senator from Connecticut, but he's a little too white. Also, he's from Connecticut. I once found a misfiled document in the National Archives which suggested that the first president from Connecticut will be the antichrist, and must be opposed at all costs.

I like his enthusiasm, but I suspect corporate capture is only part of the problem. Outright lack of talent, lack of incentive to do good science, and neglect of proper scientific method is an equal if not greater problem. I don't just want him going on a witch hunt for lobbyists, I want him to demand we re-investigate every major precept of nutritional science that's accumulated over the decades. I want replication studies to back up agency guidelines, and an automatic revocation of guidelines if they fail to replicate.

The nature of bureaucracy (80k employees!) is an equally big part, which enables the capture to begin with, and enables incompetence otherwise. He needs to get Elon or someone to overhaul those bureaucrats; stop the box checking, get them laser focused on research, debunking, challenging corporate claims, and being as proactive as RFK himself.
