Matt Walsh / The Matt Walsh Show

I wonder if Am I Racist will be trapped behind Daily Wire+ after it's theatrical run.

I think it's a mediocre trailer and every clip I've seen was meh. There's no way it lives up to What Is A Woman, but I do think it'll still be good despite my initial impressions, because I know Daily Wire is trash at advertising. Some of their commercials are honestly bafflingly bad.
I watched it since there wasn't anything else to watch this September (I'm not watching Beetlejuice, God can we just fucking STOP with pointless sequels where old characters get shat on by some girlbosses?) and it was alright, I didn't sleep in the theater so I guess that is something.

But I definitely was disappointed at how the online discourse shilled it as 'Conservative Borat' when in reality it was just a pretty basic bitch conservative documentary as to how all these anti-racist activists are grifters. Wow. Definitely ground breaking news.

The reality is that the people lining up to watch this movie already know that. Matt Walsh being a pretty milquetoast conservative (we all know the dichotomy: based on the troons, simpy on da Joos) is still enough to get him branded as a NAHTZEE by normies and normies get turned off by that so it's not like Am I Racist is going to 'wake people up' to DEI antics. The people who are already aware will buy tickets and watch this to affirm what they already know. If anything the Jeremy Jahns drama about this film is probably going to wake more people up against woke shit than the film itself tbh.

I'm not saying it's a bad documentary, it's easy on the eyes and doesn't drag for too long but like unless you're a really good charmer at getting a bunch of normies to see this (impossible since the media wants people to think Matt Walsh is some super ultra turbo NAZI CHUD when in reality he's just a basic bitch conservative) and then they'll get aware of DEI and start to question things. If not, ultimately it's not really going to amount to much. I think What Is A Woman was lightning in a bottle and is an outlier since the troon stuff has been a pretty 'new' phenomenon but DEI shit has been a thing for a while already. If GamerGate didn't redpill enough people I don't think this will.

Anyways back to my bit about this movie being hailed as 'Based Borat' it's not that at all. It's just a straight up documentary with some trolling antics but they're very subdued and they lack any shock value. Matt Walsh has his cultivated 'professional good boy Christian' image so he can't go for gross-out humor like Sasha Baron Cohen did like such as drive around with a real bear, attempt to kidnap Pamela Anderson, have a naked brawl with a fat Armenian at the RNC, or generally actually disgust people and make them feel uncomfortable. The most reactions Walsh gets is... Mild annoyance and bemusement? Honestly I think even Alex Stein's antics at trolling leftists probably would make for a better film since Walsh has the personality of cardboard whereas Stein actually swears and screams without even having to play a character. Literally his one gimmick is: "oh but I have a DEI card". I think the highlight of the film was him having that DEI activist pay his film producer reparations which was the one time I did get a chuckle.

Big missed opportunity was when they had the Race2Dinner scene and they only allowed White women on. How does Walsh infiltrate the scene? He just pretends to be a waiter and spills plates. Lolwut. They couldn't come up with him just showing up as himself and saying "I'm a pre-op transwoman. I don't have the money to get HRT, so respect me you fucking cis nigger monkey." Okay maybe not the last part, but seriously they didn't think of that? There was so many ways Walsh could've like went balls to the wall insane if this was supposed to be 'Republican Borat' since apparently his disguise worked really well at fooling people into thinking he's not Matt Walsh but he doesn't just play it safe, he just lacks any creativity whatsoever.

Also he didn't have the budget to contact Rachel Dolezal? Though he did somewhat reference her I guess.

So Walsh went on Joe Rogan to promote his movie and made himself look like a complete idiot getting into an hour long talk about the moon landing. To those who don't know, Rogan used to be a hardcore moon landing denier and is very knowledgeable about the different theories and evidence people use to claim it's all a hoax (or at least appeared to be to me, who isn't very knowledgeable.) Matt famously loves to shit on moon landing deniers, getting into fights on X (formerly Twitter) and pissing off the conspiracy guys in his audience.

He's just outed himself as someone who knows nothing about the subject at all. I have no idea why he didn't just try and change the subject, instead of continuing to talk about it for over an hour. Lmao.

Starts at about 50 minutes in. I'm just posting this for posterity, I don't blame anyone for not wanting to suffer through Rogan.

In what way shape or form does beetlejuice fit this description
I skimmed Mumkey's review on Letterboxd lol. I assumed the last paragraph referred to Keaton's character, no?

Not even 2 minutes in, this reviewer is completely seething about this movie “is not how real life works”.(I assume the rest of the video is just slandering matt’s character and saying NO!, it’s so unfunny because it’s Actually racist or that shit)

Beetlejuice is the villain, he spends half the first movie trying to rape a 14 year old and the sequel tormenting her nonstop 20 years later. His character is completely untouched and at no point does anyone in the movie, including the interdimentional mortality police, manages to get one up on him.

Yes, she manages to temporarily make him fuck off at the end because you can't have the fucking rapist actually fuck her, but literally 2 minutes later it shows that she accomplished nothing and Beetlejuice still quite literally gets the last laugh. (I'm not sure but I think quite literally the last piece of audio in the movie is him laughing while she screams)

Beetlejuice is treated an unstoppable uncontrollable force of nature throughout the entire film that everyone else has to work around, he doesn't get girlbossed, and literally every single time you think he's about to get girlbossed the movie subverts it.

We found out that when beetlejuice was alive he was a dirt poor peasant harvesting teeth making a living diving into plague corpse pits to collect teeth, a mistress of a death cult married him and tricked him intending to sacrifice him so she could gain eternal life, she poisons him and mocks him and while she's laughing, he picks up a decorative axe from a nearby wall and hacks her into 38 pieces, making her spend the following 500 years locked up in 38 boxes in the afterlife's lost and found department.

At the end when the girl he's been trying to rape for 20 years "kills him" she goes on to live a long happy life, watching her daughter grow up, get married, get pregnant, only to give birth to a deformed beetlejuice baby, at which point its revealed her whole life was a nightmare conjured up by BJ just to fuck with her.

Never get into an argument with Joe Rogan about conspiracy theories. You won't win.

I think the best time to start is at 48:00, it gives both context of what they're currently talking about and goes into the moonlanding from there.

I'm really glad you pointed it out. I had started watching this, but after 30 minutes of talking about antisemitism and jews I got fatigued. I didn't know they were going to butt heads over moonlanding, lol.

Jeremy Jahns did positive review of Walsh's new documentary "Am I Racist?" and now leftards and troons have outrage on him.
Shit hit the sloptubers

Honestly, I was surprised a "normie" channel could review such a movie in a matter of fact way.
This would not have happened just a few years ago. Maybe the purity spiral has lost its threat and people can go back to being normal again.

I'm gonna see the new movie today. I can't wait

Edit: It was really funny, and I highly recommend seeing it in a full theater if you can.
I would suggest going in as blind as possible. As they say, all the best scenes are in the trailer, but there's still plenty of other funny stuff in it.

You can suggest conspiracy theories that are even more insane than whatever Joe believes in. If he talks about flat Earth, you talk about why you think Earth is a cube and how all the continents we know of are just on one flat side and that's all part of a wider cover up. Don't forget to compliment him for being intelligent and agreeing with his interpretations on what the cube Earth would entail.

I had one friend using this tactic in convincing one moron to believe that the tower of babel was built by beavers and now that idiot flexes to people of knowing sacred knowledge about biblical texts, even though he never picked up a book in his life.

Kind of overly broad for a specifically Matt Walsh thread, but I feel like all the pushback you've been seeing against D I E etc. is being allowed by the (((media))) because Black Lives Splatter permanently damaged their relationship with/control over the left.

Alt righters shitpost on the Internet and occasionally have a synagogue shooting, libtards infiltrate institutions and take to the streets en masse. Also going all-in on Israel means they need to maintain a good relationship with the (((right wing))), which is why the rabbi of Squirrel Hill didn't criticize or blame Trump for the shooting.

My logseq says I called all this back in 2022 at the latest, and Jewish media is now catching on.
