And he just keeps responding. Imagine going outside your house every day and there's a big crowd of people out there hurling insults at you. When you try to speak to one of your friends, the entire crowd boos you and points out all your flaws. If you try to respond to one of the critics, it just leads to you getting your own words thrown back in your face and you getting humiliated. Eventually you go back inside and sleep for a couple of hours, but you always eventually go outside again to subject yourself to this.
