Now that you mention it, I could see MNINI being somewhat of a transsexual. You know what they say, oftentimes, life can imitate art. For the case of this specific character, he isn't far from what could happen in real life.

Life imitates art. In the case for Postal 2, it was a product of its time. It could've never been done in an equally, if not more, bizarre world that we live in now. Because how can you make a Postal game if real life is crazier than the game itself?

a general answer for the postal talk, the issue with the series in itself is not the lack/strangeness of material but RWS itself being really fucking incompetent at their job, the lead (mike J) is a turbo-pussy-kike that instead of doing a complete and functional game, or some comedy that isn't based on vaginas, shit, piss and cum, is instead busy banning people from the rws discord, sucking off trannies (he even hired one) and actively shitting on people that liked the series, postal 4 is not troonslop but it gets really close for how badly it's made.

E: oh yeah also he and his cronies constantly complain about how postal 3 is le bad game and you should totally mock the team that got giga-fucked by the economy crash in 2008/2012 iirc

Extreme Meatpunks Forever is a really weird phenomenon of a "game" that I'm really surprised isn't more well known (not for its merits, of course). Despite normal people, those weirdos that for some reason would be inclined to navigate Itch.io and even people of gender completely ignoring its existence, during a very brief period of time it was the absolute darling of the usual suspects amongst journos and developers, in a way that felt eerily similar to 2013's depression quest but in different circles; Kotaku, for example, ignored it completely while PC centric game websites couldn't fucking shut up about it, particularly Rock Paper Shotgun's Dominic Tarason who was (and is) positively obsessed with it. And in a few short years, as soon as it came, the love was suddenly gone. After the TTRPG Kickstarter was done (around 2021), everyone, even the handiest of maidens, completely forgot about it. The second "chapter" was released and seemingly nobody played it, the TTRPG meet a similar or worse fate, with even Reddit admitting it was kind of shitty. It's hard to even find basic info on those two, buried under a pile of praise for the first chapter.

I somehow got a key for it from God knows where shortly after it was released in 2018, and decided to give it a try; the idea of Mechas made out of flesh seems right up my alley and I've developed some resistance against patently pretentious media if a) there's at least 1 (one) interesting idea or execution and b) it doesn't cost me money. I'll avoid making a review, but the only thing I'll say about my impressions is that there's very little meatpunk in this extreme bone; the meat Mechas are given so little importance, so little detail, even in descriptions that they could be made out of any weird shit and the game's narrative wouldn't change that much; they might as well be made out of animal crackers or discarded condoms. They are background dressing for the protagonists' lame angsty drama and their mercurial gender-based, middle-class, terminally-online, hot-topic-rebel ennui parading as """punk""" attitude.

I've a strong suspicion that this game was extremely influential in the wrong circles based on it's description and the infamous manifesto alone; I challenge you to find any positive review about it that doesn't paraphrase the words "four gay disasters beating up neonazis in giant robots made of meat" or include a direct quote from the manifesto. When I was watching Null play Dustborn I kept finding so many similarities between the two games that now I have no doubt that Red Thread games basically wrote a love letter to this abomination. The list of similarities is long, but to name a few both games could be described as a road trip on a barely-explained vaguely-post apocaliptic setting where a bunch of barely functional Tumblr gendered retards use fantastical powers to fight what amounts to physical representations of Twitter's arguments where the bad guys are Nazis because the game tells you they are. The dates check, since Dustborn started development around the peak of EMF's popularity.

It makes me wonder, what changed between 2018 and 2021 for this game to fall from grace so abruptly? I have my theories but this post is long enough as it is. Such a fascinating little turd of a game. Sorry for the derail.
Also I know it has been mentioned already, but I can't recommend @Jaimas Let's Sperg thread about this game enough.

Speaking from my experience being exposed to it? It's sudden "popularity" was entirely artificial, and no amount of under-the-table handie jays could help the fact that Heather's games are simply not worth the paltry disk space. You know, if it weren't for Gamer Gate, nobody would remember Zoe Quinn either.

The only people I've ever met who were interested in meatpunk themselves were also 1. absolutely reading the tabloids you mentioned and 2. like-minded middle class trannies who are all too eager to feel marginalised and punk. Nobody talks about this shit. Even those guys didn't have the energy to bring it up more than once.
