Its so frustrating seeing what this site's become over the years.
I guess it isn't surprising, Roblox as a company has never had a good reputation for the majority of its lifespan, but fucking hell. If you asked users 10 years ago, i don't think they'd assume it would get this bad.

Also I remember some guy posting statistics about their moderation tool that used AI to detect malicious actors in discord servers, I completely forget the thread name but I wonder if it can be specially applied to MFD's use case?

The real question is what do they think qualifies as harassment? How strict is their definition? Googling it could be anything from an unwanted discord ping to following a woman home at night and standing menacingly outside her kitchen window until you hear sirens.

Lolcows use harassment to describe everything from criticism to actually showing up at somebody's house and following them to work. The latter is prohibited by forum rules, the former is what we do every day. They don't use a consistent definition because they use what is convenient for them.

they either have a fetish for spreading misinfo, or they know that twitter users in general like to take anything at face value if it's about someone they hate, and they exploit that.

The worst part about it is that it works. The amount of times I've seen xitter artists completely avoid backlash for doing something shitty because they make a tweet about being "harassed" is insane.

Honestly, knowing what happened when I was a kid, I'm not terribly suprised. But still sad as I have a lot of good memories enjoying roblox as a young kid. I remember being rather young and playing roblox with a friend when we got a legit porn ad on the side bar. My man hit "no" to wanting to see more. Kinda fucked I "knew" what porn was (and that it was bad) as a prepubescent. Had an older relative that watched porn on the family pc, so I'm guessing that's how it happened btw.

SIDE NOTE: Back in June of 2024 I interacted with this hyper clingy inbred (parents&grandparents were literally cousins) Palestinian woman on a Meditation Discord server who turned out to be (i later found out) a mentally retarded child predator on Roblox who somehow hasn't been banned from that game despite her absolute zero self-awareness and the fact she shows off screenshots of all the shady stuff she was doing with underage kids.

While complaining about her personal life, she literally would show off screenshots not realizing that they were literally incriminating and yet she still was never banned. Fucking surreal. I won't say much more for the sake of saving myself some time, but what I learned from becoming heavily involved in her personal details made me want to send a legion of crusading paladin zealots to wipe that game out of existence.

I have NEVER played Roblox and I NEVER will, but fuck...the absolute revolting things I saw that she was doing in that game...I...*sigh*

Apparently they got Ruben shadowbanned for everyone with their ISP. However, I literally have never heard the ability for an ISP to shadowban YouTube channels. I don't know if this is a special case or they're just plain lying.
