The point of social media is to expand your brand, not to plop down there for life like you're a machinist in 1950's America; or to tell people to eat your shit, or for some reason masturbate in front of a live camera to ruin your brand.Also Phil: you are at the mercy of Google. Should Google pull the plug then what?
Like literally in a month Youtube could impose cost cutting measures like a data cap for free uploading, or delete any account that hasn't logged in for 6 months so his 200k will turn into like 27k. We don't know what's going on internally at Google. Piggy would be playing the kick drum like Joey Jordinson and stress wiping grease off his face like no tommorow.
A tiny streamer I watch (who does one like 30 second plug for Patreon at the end of a stream and that's it) simulcasts on Youtube, Xitter, Twitch, and Rumble. They also got a fairly active Telegram where fans chat, a website (barebones but still), and do IRL stuff. Point is, if Youtube disappeared tommorow, there would be no crisis. Ok so imagine if it was a sandwich shop etc etc...
