I think the strange/paradoxical policy choices really boils down to having a desired destination/outcome. People work backwards from their desired outcome, finding facts/policies to support their emotional desires. Instead of working from facts toward emotional desires. When one avenue of goal advancement fails to yield desired outcomes they switch to another. For the left, its a matter of "if the workers won't support being robbed to create gay space communism, we'll import a slave class." For the right, its a matter of "if big business won't support traditional single provider families with homes and 2.5+ children, we'll support workers rights and protectionism."

The only way they sold the globalization of trade to the right in the first place, was the national security argument we could moderate totalitarian governments with closer economic ties, thus reducing the danger of international conflict. That project has utterly failed in its purported goal, and created a massive danger to the US economy.

Americans will put up with a lot of bullshit for an agreed upon goal, even anti-war leftys liked the 'trade over war' arguments, as much as they hated NAFTA, and trade normalization with China.

The dude has been making everyone aware of the crap companies keep putting in our food and how the government just lets it happen. How can you have hate for someone that wants to remove all the bad crap that's in food? You know, the thing people put in their mouths and systems that are doing god knows what to them with long term side effects and repercussions? So under that logic, Reddit is defending poison. They are defending having their goyslpo be left alone as it slowly kills them from the inside. RFK went against The Science. He was a kook who said vaccines cause autism and he made Big Pharma look bad. Big Pharma donates a lot to the left. It provides their SSRIs and hormones for them, and Narcan for the poor drug addicts whose fault it never is.

He doubled down on doubting the COVID vax and Big Pharma at a time when COVID was going to keep everyone in control, in their houses, not going to dumb regressive churches or flying on vacations or driving and polluting the environment.

Even worse, while he was against it during Trump, who was clearly evil and dumb and anti-science, he had the audacity to be anti-Vaxx during the Biden Administration when Science was ascendant, and Big Pharma was saving us from certain deaths with comfy quarterly Injections Of Safety for the rest of our lives. And on top of that, he wrote a horrible misinformation book damning Saint Fauci, PBUH.

He is anti-war, which jeopardizes the jobs given to Americans by the good guys in the Military-Industrial Complex and will enable Putler to take over the world and Bibi Netanyahu to commit a Second Holocaust against the Good Brown People of the Middle East.

Then still more terrible, he dared to run for the Democratic Party nomination against the only man who could beat Drumpf, Joe Biden--the incumbent, most popular President in history, and rightful nominee, threatening a chance for Literally Hitler to win. And he further committed apostasy by denying the Democrat party and leaving it.

This is what they actually believe, which is why they will continue to try and destroy him, block his nomination, and start to simp for Industrial Food, seed oils, and ultraprocessed foods.
